This is the first time I heard about this report. I don't think we are the least like people in Asia.

When we talk about Asia, we are talking about 49 countries. I don't think these 49 countries don't like the Filipino people in general. For someone who is living in a country where 202 nationalities are interacting and working together and with each other, I would say, it's the opposite. Ask the people who work or have worked in Asia outside the PI and the answer is a big yes. With the exemption of China, Taiwan and HK of course.  People in these countries hate us not because of Pnoy or some issues the report mentioned or others mentioned in here, but the hatred is I guess, rooted in the history.

China, will never forget that we aided South Korea to defeat the Communist North and annihilated the Chinese soldiers during the Korean war.

Cambodia, as mentioned by one poster, is an ally of China. So no doubt about it. HK, we it's China. And people their are from mainland China. What will you expect? It's a no-brainer.

If, the author will do the math and calculate as per population, there is no doubt that we will be the least like people in Asia. Asia's population is 4.1 billion as of July 2011 and China has 1.3 Billion people as of 2012. Cambodia has 15 million people.

Do the math, and we will really be the least like people in Asia by its neighbors.

The reasons stated by Alex Magno has one common issue, Philippines is beginning to stand its ground and hold its own interest over other countries in Asia.

I agree. It's easy to like a pushover and easier still to hate them when they develop a backbone.

Why should we consult Vietnam regarding our own claims?  ???

We will be exporting rice (15 metric tons of black rice, 20 tons of japonica rice and 30 tons of long grain aromatic rice) to Indonesia and Dubai this year.

Yung issue with HongKong, hindi lang sa bansa natin namamatay ang mga dayuhan, kahit sa first world country tulad ng US madaming namamatay, they have a right to be mad at us and we take it as it is.

Lastly, we also need to remember where Alex Magno is coming from, he is an ally of congresswoman Gloria Arroyo.
