thats your opinion, you are entitled to it, heres mine:
the only new thing MH is bringing to the table gamewise that its online, Quests and kill monsters, like any other run of the mill Hack and slash MMORPG nowadays that come a dime a dozen
heres how MHO will be like
Level up, talk to NPC, get Quest, Kill monster, Loot, Return to NPC for reward(or not depending on the quest details), repeat cycle until Level Cap is reached, too linear, too one track gaming
what you do(as individuals or guilds) in the game does not affect the entire game
even when ES games were offline what you do in the game affects the entire game world you create with the decisions you make, getting a bounty on your head was the worst
ESO on the other hand offers DEPTH that hardcore MMORPG players have been coming back to games and ESO brings 1 important thing to the table:
What you do in the game affects EVERYONE ELSE
i agree with your Fanbase logic but the only people who will play MH will be MH fans and curious casual players
people who will play ESO will not only be Elder Scroll fans, MMORPG hardcore gamers from other games like WoW, Guild Gamers, Political Gamers, Story line gamers
