isn't that faith is supposed to be blind? you believe in things you have not see. you follow commandments by higher beings you haven't met. you believe in things you can't touch. you put your trust on someone you have not seen yet. if not, then what is faith to you?

a bit off topic. higher beings, at least in my point of view as an agnostic, are yet to be fully proven to exist (and no, an incomplete book of unknown and unverified origin which needs more than one translation of the same language is not enough of a proof). i don't place faith in something i can't sense in any way. i only put trust on someone i have interacted in any way. faith is trust you place onto something/someone that it can do what it can do, as long as it/that person is proven to exist.

voting for someone without ever knowing exactly why, no matter how you look at it, is illogical. that's one of the reasons why i decided to leave the sect i was born in, together with a plethora of other heavier reasons.

There is no point kasi na Magendorso ang INC ng mga Politikong miyembro ng mga relihiyong ayon sa INC mismo ay sa Demonyo. Pinagkakaisahan ng INC ang pagboto sa mga politikong ayon sa inyo ay sa demonyo. Maniniwala ang mga tao na ang "Pagkakaisa" ay kinakasihan ng biblia kung ang pinagkakaisan ninyong iboto ay hindi kaanib sa relihiyong ayon sa INC ay sa Demonyo.  Dapat sana ang pagkaisahang iboto ay Taong nakakaunawa ng aral, Turo ng biblia.  Kung naniniwala kayo na ang Aral ng INC ang toto... sinasangayunan ng biblia... Di ba Dapat ang mga namumuno sa bayan ay mga naturuan ng Aral ng INC? At bakit ipinagkakatiwala ng Tangapangasiwa ng INC ang pamumuno sa gobyerno sa mga taong walang Aral?

Ilan lang sa mga dahilan ang mga sumusunod.

1. Walang tiwala ang Tangapangasiwa sa mga members.
2. Mabubuking ng hindi sufficient ang INC block voting para maipanalo ang kandidato.
3. Kapag ibang relihiyon ang nakaupo at natulungan ng INC sa halalan, natural may pabor na kapalit.
4. Walang perang papasok sa iNC kung kapatid nila ang eendorso nila.

Hindi pwedeng idahilan na gawa ng laman ang politika na dapat layuan. Hindi po masama ang politika. Ang masama ay ang mga taong polito dahil walang aral ng biblia na sinusunod.

Pagkakaisa! pAgkakaisa!  Pinagkakaisahan ninyong iboto ang mga inaakay ng Demonyo.... Bakit hindi pagkaisahang iboto ang mga "Taong sa Dios"?

Yes, ang swerte nia talaga dahil binay siya, kung hindi, malamang walang tiyansang manalo yan. Sana naman, kung sakaling manalo siya, magperform siya, pero i-doubt.

Of course, there will be some. After all, INC is composed of humans, and no man is perfect, we still commit sins. But to answer you question, "susunod muna ako sa Diyos bago sa tao". That's why we follow our Church leaders dearly. Personally, i don't like bam aquino, nancy binay and grace poe. WTF, they're just using their family name to secure a position. But if that's the decision of our Leaders, then, i'll follow.

INC is existing for almost 100 years now and will continue to exists. been a member since 1999 and i don't recall my life was put into danger by our Church Leaders, and as a matter of fact, our Church Admin is launching projects that will benefit INC members. it's very unlikely to happen to INC, so i'm not worried.

but going back to topic, i still have my own opinion, just like other INC members, but we always put for God first before anything else.

you're missing the point. blind obedience is dangerous because it stomps free will with you even noticing it. if INC decides to do a "jonestown" would you still blindly follow that order even if "God" or your religious leaders said so ?! my example is extreme but even if you follow that line of thought, would you be willing to follow such "subtle" order ? we are given heads to think, not hands to to be chained and lead.

i can't answer your question because i know that's not gonna happen :-) let me just put it this way, God asked Abraham to kill his only son, Isaac. if that's God's will, i will follow. but again, i know and strongly believe, that INC will never put it's members' lives into danger.

you can't answer the question because you can't think for yourself to a point. there's a fine line between faith and blind obedience and you can't seem to find it.

I've been out of the INC for so long I only remember a few bits of their doctrines. But in this case, one of their basis in unity that I remember would be the ananias and sapphira story. But seeing as discussing it would be way off topic,  you might wanna ask beaverjohn2006 about it in their thread and not here (asking voyager would be like asking a coconut husk).
