MArch 31, 2013.

Kevin Ware has suffered a horrific leg fracture that reduced fellow players to tears in what one commentator described as the worst basketball injury of all time. The Louisville Cardinals guard was attempting to challenge a three-point shot when his leg buckled and he landed awkwardly. Ware immediately collapsed and began writhing around in pain. The tibia bone in his right leg clearly could be seen protruding from the skin… smoking::

this should be the new commercial for Milk. JEZUZ that was hard to watch, no one would be surprised why the bench reacted like that

 :o same injury happened to Eduardo of Arsenal Cannons in EPL...the bone came out of skin...5 to 10yrs recovery period according to physicians....sad for the young fella who's dreamin' to play in NBA....one dream ruined by accident on the hard court...prayers for u kevin ware....go louisville cardinals win the ncaa championship....god bless

In case you missed the game, Ware snapped his leg -- through his skin -- during Louisville's game against Duke yesterday. Ware was attempting to block a 3-point shot and landed wrong. Google at your own risk.

Ware underwent a two-hour procedure following the injury ... doctors had to insert a rod into his tibia ... but thankfully, everything went well.

The Louisville team physician has said he doesn't believe the injury will be career-ending ... but Ware's not playing ball anytime soon.
