Where to stay in Baguio?
« on: January 27, 2013, 08:50:23 am »
So we've decided na mag Panagbenga Festival. Tinawagan ko yung dating pinag stayan namen which is Ferrioni2. Problem is ang mahal ng rate nila. Yung dating 2k per night eh naging 4.5k since long weekend at panagbenga. Gagawin namin ito on feb 23-24. Alis kami ng manila ng gabi ng 22. At least 6 kame. Hindi ko pa alam ang exact count. Puro barako pala kame.
You're not your. This not these. It's not its. We're not were.

im from baguio and i suggest you guys visit mybaguio.biz (forgive me for plugging) may lists of houses for rent jan na pwede niyo makita ang pics and rates. pwede niyo rin icontact yung owner for dealings. mahirap talaga magset sa february given kasi panagbenga.. lahat ng lowlanders gusto umakyat at lahat ng highlanders gusto magtago.

i think meron ding mga house for rent sa la trinidad.

ProTip: always ask about the safety of the place. ang mga hotspot natin jan is Central Business District area (aka session, plaza area), new lucban, aurora hill, trancoville area.. always check for locks and padlocks if pwede, ask for the number of occassions na nanakawan yung lugar / barangay.

yan kasi yung mga areas na di populated. gibraltar / scout barrio although mines view is kinda semi hotspot narin since tourist spot. as much as possible wag nalang kayo magdala ng mga gadgets na di kailangan.i will not assure it's safety pero you can check with the owner of the house with regards to that.

Basta don't leave your important belongings unattended. ;)

pa-OT, stay safe and happy during your trip.

avoid exposing various gadgets, even from the very start, like say during going down from your vehicles.  if you really need to bring gadgets, keep them in a bag and away from prying eyes.  stay away from obvious gadgets bags if you can.  if you need to bring various gadgets while going around town, put them in a bag zipped.  i use zipper pulls that i crisscross among them (zipper pulls) in such that it is hard for bad guys to open it.  i put my money in several locations.

be wary of people who intentionally and "strongly" bump you.  when buying from "ukay-ukay" be wary of people who try to wrestle away from you what you have already picked for yourself.  such technique was used back then to a friend of mine who lost around 12k in cash.  basically, be conscious of your surroundings.
