help: about controller

I bought a new controller para sana gagamitin ko sa tony hawk ko sa aking laptop pero hindi sya gumagana.. it says naman na compatible din sya for windows xp/ vista/ 7. i tried downloading some drivers pero wa effect parin . pa help naman diyan. TIA
