i really hope espiyas can make our won guild s we can stand out on our own and not just ride on the coat tails of other Game Guilds, just my perspective

We are happy to announce that OBT will start tomorrow, 3rd January 2013, at 1300 HRS (+8 GMT)! That is less than 19 hours from now!

However, it's with our deepest apologies that we announce we will not be able to provide the RO2 game service to players outside of our optimised countries - Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam - due to our licence agreement with the game's developer, Gravity Co., Ltd.

These aforementioned licence terms will take full effect from the start of OBT tomorrow and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused to players. We are extremely grateful for the support you have shown RO2 so far and we thank you again for being a part of this journey. Thank you all!

OBT was supposed to start 1pm pero BANNED ang Pinas kakainsulto ng mga pinoy sa mga game devs at GMs ng RO2 coz of the Dec 27 OBT problems hahahahahahahaha

pero some are saying na the reason why they cant serve ph kasi yung rights daw eh na kay levelup paren, pretty much like when they first got the license for RO1. then there's another news wherein magkakaron daw ng separate server ang NA+PH. i don't know. medyo na-disappoint lang ako kasi i was really looking forward to play the game.

unless LUG payed for the GAME FRANCHISE License then that would be the issue since RO2 is a part of the "RAGNAROK ONLINE" Trademark/Franchise but if LUG only payed for Game Licensing then why exclude the Philippines sin RO and RO2 are pretty much 2 different games on different Platforms/Engines, i believe they are only making EXCUSES since they are not equipped to handle the number of Filipino gamers playing this game and is also a strategy to force the hand of LUG or whatever Local Gaming Company PAY $$$ to buy the rights to the game then making it PAY2Play here in the Philippines

at syempre nabastusan din ang Playpark, Asiasoft at Gravity sa UGALING SKWATER ng mga Pinoy na kung ano ano nilagay sa FB page ng RO2 and i believe they did the right thing banning pinoys from playing the game, THEY HAVE THE RIGHT to have a game community of mature and responsible players and hindi mga bastos at walang respeto sa ibang tao at lahi

Manual Patch and Syntax Error Fix [UPDATED 3rd Jan 2013, 1720 hrs (+8 GMT)]

For those having problem with the game client and syntax error:

Step 1) Please attempt to flush your DNS before you try again.

 

How to flush DNS:

1) Click "Start" button on Windows taskbar

2) Type "CMD" and press enter. You will see a black window pop up.

3) Once window opens, type "ipconfig/flushdns"

 

If Step 1 doesn't help,

Step 2a) Uninstall CBT Game Client then re-install it (Please DON'T change installation path)

Step 2b) Update with the manual patch.

ahahahahah this is only needed to LOG IN, once logged in you can turn it off para hindi lag(although on Proxy Switcher hindi talaga lag)
