what do you mean? its just a firmware for your router. it will replace the default program in your router to give you more control and more options.

first check if your router is supported from their site (may listahan sila ng supported routers for DD WRT). then download mo ang file, then upgrade mo firmware ng router with the file from DD WRT.

does it help? maybe it will give some performance boost (case to case basis) but of course do not expect it to be that much since it will not actually do anything special

i suggest you read the articles in DD WRT first para malaman mo kung worth it ba mag palit ka sa DD WRT firmware or not

for me i updated my firmware to DD WRT to have full control and monitor the bandwidth that is coming in and out from my wireless Router.

parang may mga na unlock ka lang na options na nadagdag sa router mo like bandwidth monitoring, VOIP on some versions of the firmware. just check if your router is supported because some are not supported as of the moment.

for me so far so good no problems after updating the firmware. since may mga help files naman sila sa site nila which is helpful lalo na sa mga first timers na kagay natin na nag update sa DD WRT.

Ayun na nga nasagot mo na ts, custom firmware siya ng router.

parang psp may custom firmware, pero maraming router models/brands ang supported ng ddwrt.

gusto ko sana mag ganito kasi olats QoS ng default firmware ng D-Link 600 ko. kaya lang hindi ko alam paano magupgrade lol
