problem in setting up CCTV in portal of Smartbroadband

can anybody set up CCTV on smartbroadband..... it's possible? there is another solution? plz help.....

simple answer, hindi

kasi hindi mo controlado ang network ports mo sa smart bro. in fact, ang setting nga niyan is parang nasa LAN lang kayong lahat ng user sa isang area. ang naka assign na local IP mo is 192.168.xx.xx

your solution would be to get another ISP, yung iba ang setup. sa setup kasi ng smartbro, you have to be the admin para maconfigure mo ng maayos ang cctv setup mo and its impossible na bigyan ka ng admin rights ng smartbro kasi makikita mo na lahat ng ibang mga computers na nakaconnect sa area

Update ko lang.Mukhang pwede na ngayon. Hindi kami naka static na ip address pero nakikita namin ang cctv using android,pc,or iphone. May app na naka upload sa DVR ng CCTV at nai install din ito using google play at kung ano man na pang iphone.

yup yung mga bagong DVR pwede na direct to phone via app nila. PERO hindi lahat ng CCTV may ganung feature. basically the app communicates direct to the DVR regardless of IP address

correct... we have used destiny internet and pldt dsl to setup this connection...
