Help po mga Tech iDol Question po, can my LED TV connect to 5.1 speaker setup may device po ba akong gagamitin? salamat po

Pls specify the model of your LED TV, check mo sa likod hanapin mo yung FIBER OPTIC OUTPUT port ng LED TV mo then connect mo sa FIBER OPTIC INPUT ng speakers or home theater system mo using FIBER OPTIC CABLE

note if wala Fiber optic ports ang LEDTV and speakers mo then they are not capable of TRUE 5.1 Surround sound

what you can do is get a set of 5.1 Speakers that convert L/R(red and white) Stereo output into virtual 5.1 surround audio

MasterChief63 salamat po. yup meron pong fiber optic output yung tv ko. ask ko lang pu ulit, lahat po ba ng 5.1 speakers ay may fiber optic den? sorry po for my noob question. im planning to buy palang kasi. at meron po kaya ako mabibili na 5.1 sa halagang 5k? thanks po

walang speakers na may 5.1 under P5K sir, sa TPC you can find mga P12k speakers na 2nd hand at P7k pataas na may fiber optic connection, the best speakers in my opinion is the Logitech Z5500 pero mga P12k pataas brand new nun

please also consider this:

ang SOURCE ng Video and Audio mo has to also be a 5.1 source like a PS3, XBOX360, Bluray/DVD Player or even a PC with actual 5.1 for surround sound to work, kasi source ang magoutput nung actual sound not your LEDTV, kung baga relay lang kasi kung ang LEDTV mo nakaHDMI from the source it means 5.1 ang audio nun source na pinadaan mo sa TV, pwede mo  na rin kasi iderekta sa source ang fiber optic cable para dun sa source galing ang output ng speakers

i say source kasi dont expect CABLE TV to give you a 5.1 surround sound experience kasi sa pinas STEREO audio lang ang analog cable signals, unless you have those fancy HD services like satellite TV or even that new SkyCable HD service you wont get real 5.1 surround pag kinabit mo sa 5.1 speakers Front L/R lang ang may lalabas kasi nga stereo

sir masterchief63 thanks talaga idol. nabasa ko nga den po dun sa tpc. mukhang Logitech Z5500 na talaga bibilhin ko sir, by the way ang gagamitin ko na den siguro na source ng audio ko yung LED na den mismo, since na may built in mediaplayer siya na can accept mkv format. thanks again idol. nasagot mo na po tanong ko

ayos yan kung may MKV player sya na built in kasi as long as the MKV rip is 5.1 it will be True 5.1 surround sound output kasi kaya nyang magdecode ng audio codec ng mkv 5.1 audio in DVD and Bluray rips

pasali sa thread.yung tv ko walang fiber optic,but yung dvd player ko na nextbase nb-890 is meron..does it mean na pwede sya salpakan ng 5.1..??wala din aku idea kase pagdating sa mga ganito..

ok im assuming ur nextbase dvd player is a 5.1 speaker home theater system right? if so YES kung meron kang multimedia device/source like a Bluray Player, PS3/XBOX360 or a PC with Optical out pwede mo palabasin sa speakers mo as 5.1 surround sound sa nextbase mo
