One year ago, Pakistan suffered the worst flooding in its history, a slow-moving disaster that left some 2,000 dead and another 11 million homeless. Nearly one million are still without permanent shelter, and meanwhile, the flooding has returned. Though it's not on the same scale as last year's flood, this summer's damage is still significant. High water from monsoon rains has killed more than 200 people since early August, damaging or destroying some 670,000 homes and affecting more than 5 million people, according to the government and the United Nations. The disaster has once again overwhelmed the capacity of the government to assist, and the UN has asked for $357 million in international aid. Gathered here is a handful of recent images from Pakistan, where residents are once again coping with flooding on a massive scale

And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. Genesis 9:11

TRUE... Because this is how GOD will destroy the earth.....

Malachi 4:1   For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Malachi 4:2   But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4:3   And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

What the F*** is wrong with you religious nuts.

^ sorry maybe you misunderstood why I quoted Genesis 9:11, I was being sarcastic when the bible made a promise about floods yet people are still dying because of these floods. I believe in God, but I don't believe the biblical God most people have, and I definitely don't believe in the bible.

What do you mean by this? Yes we remember Sept 11, 2001.. so whats in your mind? Or are you just referring to the coincidence of the bible verse and chapter mentioned and the number 9-11? Or are you thinking more..

god promise after the great floods na dina mauulit in every ancient religions mapa greek or indians na may sinasabi silang great flood therefore sa collective memory ng tao e may nangyaring flood na di nila napaghandaan dahil sa di sophisticated ang technology nila

at that time posible noon panahon glacial periods na biglang lilitaw yung continental shelf at biglang mawawala as ancient without knowledge of geography or GPS system  that a scary scenario in front of you

at sa era dina mangyayari yan e uso na global warming kabaligtaran ang mangyayari

flood fatalities are due to katigasan ng ulo
1. huwag magtatayo sa tabingilog and yet magtatayo sila
2. pinapalikas and yet ayaw nila
3. nag-warning na lalaki ang tubig and yet di maniniwala
