Over the past week, Hurricane Irene grew from a tropical cyclone in the Caribbean to a category 3 hurricane as it blew north along the East Coast of the United States. High winds and tremendous rainfall downed trees and battered shorelines, leaving millions without power and causing some 26 deaths across nine states. Though Irene was downgraded to a tropical storm as it made landfall in New York, the heavy downpours have caused flooding problems across many states that are still unfolding.

Parang ang saya saya pa nung iba nag surf pa sa baha :) minsan lang naman kase nila maranasan yan, satin common na lang na kahit ambon baha na agad.

Pansin ko sa US parang more than half sa population nila wood pa din ang material sa mga bahay....
Naku kung ginaya nila ang dito sa pinas na sementado and bakal na ang suporta sa bubong hindi mangyayari yan sa kanila.

buti pa sa kanila puro sasakyan, gamit pangbahay at mga chika bebe ang lumulutang,, pero kung sa atin bumaha hindi lang sasakyan ang lumulutang kundi pati basura..
