I just recently read the comments of this issue. It's a sad fact talaga na merong maraming tiwali sa Simbahan, pero let us always be reminded that we should not generalize the priests. Meron pa ring marami na totoo sa kanilang pananalampataya. Let us always be reminded din na hindi sa pari tayo sumasamba, sa Diyos lang tayo sumasamba. Kung nagkamali man ang mga pari, let us not make this a hindrance to practice our religion.
i agree with sir makaldz, hinay hinay lang mga bro at wag natin i-generalize ang mga pari, not all of them are rotten. in fact mas marami sa kanila ang mga noble.
while watching the tv this morning, i accept the CBCP's humble apology. I think this is a more noble act than corrupt politicians who makes public pronouncements of their innocence and do a mockery of the law, when the evidence clearly points to their guilt.
i applaud the church's move by apologizing to all Filipinos.
Ok now we know that the bishops were at fault so let me ask you this, what will you do? will you stop going to church because of this? will you denounce your faith because of the issue?
i would surely agree to have a full investigation on this & even sanction bishops who are found guilty, thats the most that i can do siguro but not to the point of cursing the priesthood. after all this event i can still say & will always be proud to be a catholic churchgoer.
.....just my two cents.
