how to compress big files to be able to send via e-mail?

Good Evening mga ka espiya...  pa help naman kung paano ma compress ang big size files to small size files.. para po ma email po. help po mga ka espiya... thanks to all espiya...

gaano ba kalaki yung icocompress na file/s? kasi kelangan mong iconsider hetong mga factors na ito:

1. may limitation ang compression rate ng WinRAR o WinZIP, and;
2. may limitation ang size ng attachment ang mga webmail service providers (i.e. yahoo, gmail, hotmail). kung office email naman yan at gumagamit kayo ng email client gaya ng MS Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Windows Live, Roundcube, and other similar clients, tanungin mo ang inyong system administrator sa IT ninyo kung ano ang configuration na isinetup nila for attachments para sa office emailing ninyo.

if in any case talagang importanteng makasend ka ng big files pero hindi mo ito macompress due to reasons stated above or any other reason not given, another option would be using HJ-Split http://www.hjsplit.org/, isa itong free program na naghahati sa mga malalaking file at pagkatapos ay ibinabalik ito sa dating anyo.

suggestion lang

pwde mo naman upload sa megaupload or rapidshare ung mga big files mo , pero dapat naka zip ung buong folder

tapos pag isend mo sa client or boss mo , i attach mo na lang ung download link

+1 ako dito...

if im not mistaken yahoomail has 10mb limit for attachments...

mas ok pre kung sa mediafire mo iupload yung na compress mo na file...

it's a 25 mb limit for attachments

Mediafire ang ginamit ko dati sa school. I still use it. Kapag WinRAR ang ginamit mo para ma-compress ito (with or without using filesharing sites), may option ka rin para hatiin ang file into smaller parts.
