Guys, you have to remember there are two referees in every boxing match: the one in the ring and one outside. The role of the one outside is to count everytime a knockdown happens. Bayless's mistake stemmed from his lack of attention (or even being on a wrong angle) to the push and him relying on the outside referee counting the knockdown. This situation is an honest mistake. I don't think it warrants a sanction of any kind. He is an outstanding referee; a seasoned championship fights veteran. It happens in all of sports. It happens to the best of us. This leaves nothing to the first Pacquiao-Marquez fight where one judge scored the 3-KD round (rd. 1) as a 10-7 rather than a 10-6 which could've given Manny the win with a majority decision. What I'm wondering about is why Bayless is taking all the heat while the ringside referee isn't. Toast::
