Citoyen Jogars means that Georges St.-Pierre does just enough to win his matches and retain his championship rather than finish the fight in an exciting manner, Ecuyer Gervacio. That's why a lot of people call him a boring fighter.

thats not a "safe mode", thats what we call tactics with skills! at yan ang kadalasang misconception ng isang fan, kung gusto mo ng purong bakbakan muay thai na lang panoorin mo dun di ka mabobored

I'd have to agree with you there, m'sieur. If I were in St.-Pierre's place (or any fighter's place, for that matter), I'd try to keep the damage to my person as minimal as possible. I remember that Teofilo Stevenson (one of the greatest heavyweight boxers never to become a professional) would use his height and his reach (he usually fought with an upright stance) to prevent opponents from targeting his head and his face. After all, not every fighter thinks that leaving the ring a bloody mess is a badge of courage.

ganun naman talaga ang isang fighter habang tumatagal ng ma-matured bakit si pacquiao noon sugod lang ng sugod pero ngayon di na sya ganun, pinakita lang ni GSP ang na tutunan nya kay freddie roach yun ang boxing, kung napanood mo ang gsp vs koscheck makikita mo ang improvement ni gsp,

si michael jordan nung kabataan nya ala sya ginawa kundi mag dunk, pero nung ng ka edad na sya di na sya dakdakero, pero boring ba sya panoorin? hindi, pero inangat nya ang sarili nya in different level ulit, yun naman ay ang mga buzzer beater nya, ganun di lang yun.

kaya nga BORING fighter c Pierre.. the fact boring talaga panoorin c Pierre.. PEACE  ;D sana sitahin na sya ni boss Dana White just like what he did to Silva against Demian Maia.. tingin ko d rin nag enjoy yung karamihan.. sana may mag ala SONNEN type fighter na mkalaban ni Pierre.. Pra lahat masaya..  toast::
