One step at a time.
After Montiel next year, maybe 2 more fights in bantamweight this 2011. Then two more in Super bantamweight in 2012 before facing Juanma.
Donaire has a big chance to beat Juanma. But in two years time, I can not definitely say which one of them will win if they face each other.
Hindi rin ganon kalakas ang panga niya (remember when Concepcion hit him with a lucky punch on the 1st round of their match). Stamina, not that great. Naalala ko yung last bout niya with Rafael Marquez, parang gusto na niya talaga sumuko na lang si Marquez. Kaya sobrang saya niya nung hindi na 'to tumuloy for the next round.
Donaire on the other hand is a technical fighter (to quote what our fellow ka-Espiya said). IMO, si Donaire ay pinaghalong galing ng diskarte ni Peñalosa + bilis at lakas ni Pacman when he was at the same age with Donaire. And let's also give the credits to Roberto Garcia. He is one calibered trainer, but of course no one beats the specialist Freddie Roach.
Hopefully, Donaire will be the one we will be screaming about in every fight he is in when Pacquiao retires.
