Most of you must have wondered if there exists a way without using software to Hide A Drive completely so that it cannot be viewed or accessed without unlocking it. Well for those who have and who haven't yet, here is a easiest method on How To Hide Any Drive In Just 3 Steps.

Here we go, follow these 3 simple steps:

02. This will open Command Prompt for you. Now type "diskpart" and press Enter:

Once in Diskpart type "list volume" and press Enter:

Remember to change 5 with the volume number of your partition you want to hide and press Enter:

sample:

volume 0  C
Volume 1  E
Volume 3  D
Volume 4  F
Volume 5  G    <---- like mo i hide.... ;D

03. Now as in my example I am hiding drive G: so my last command is "remove letter G" and then press Enter:

All done. Now open your computer and see that drive is made hidden

Now to make a drive Unhidden

Follow first 2 steps as such but in step 3 instead of remove letter G use "assign letter G"

Is this proven? i think you are deleting your G: Partition based on your commands, Diskpart command is like a disk management but the difference is you can change the partition size using this command to the recovery console of the windows.

02. This will open Command Prompt for you. Now type "diskpart" and press Enter:

Once in Diskpart type "list volume" and press Enter:

This will list all the partitions in ur system.

Nice Post Sir.
Eto GUI Version

Start> Run
Type diskmgmt.msc > Press Enter
Right + Click yung drive > Change Drive Letter
Click Remove

Para ibalik:

Start> Run
Type diskmgmt.msc > Press Enter
Right + Click yung drive > Change Drive Letter
Click Add > Assign Letter

Easier to do right?
What it does is it removes the letter assignment to a drive so It won't be visible.

Happy New Year!!!

although personally i dont use this method. kung may need talaga na ihide na file. i just combine it with an image file. pag tingin sa windows yung image parin makikita pero hindi mo malalaman na may iba palang laman

hahaha... use the GUI version I posted for this :P

Agree ako kay sir Bodieph. Mag wowork lang kase 2 for people who don't know computers. Kung marunong yung mangangalkal, makikita din. But this works perfectly kung i-lock mo rin yung diskmgmt.msc via gpedit or regedit. ^_^
