If the Philippines would be a U.S. territory would be like puerto rico, yes our economy would be better but then again it would be a U.S. economy.

Magandang pakinggan na maging state tayo ng Amerika, pero kahit gaano man kayaman ang US madami ding naghihirap na tao sa kanila. At tahasang magiging target na din tayo ng mga terorista, sa klase ng dami ng isla sa atin parang andaling pasukin. Magkakaroon ng naman base militar, dadami ang mga whore house. Maganda nga siguro hehehe

We need good leaders not another foreign country na magpapatakbo ng sarili nating ekonomiya. Sayang naman yung pinaglaban na kasarinlan ng ating mga bayani. Mababago na din ba ang tinuturo ng history natin? Na sa madaming taon ilang banyaga ang pinalayas natin at sa huli sila na mismo ang magpapatakbo ng bayan natin.

Kailangan natin ng mga tunay na bayani, tunay na makabayan, mahirap hanapin, kahit naman ako sumusuko na din sa takbo ng bansa natin, pero not to the point na pumayag sa ganung sitwasyon. Kaya ng Pilipino tumayo magisa, maaring matagalan pa pero hang buhay may pag asa.

The United States will never annex the Philippines, that was decided in 1945. In fact, Guam and the Northern Marianas haven't been able to convince the majority of US citizens to let them become a State

There would be great advantages for both countries if that happened though.

1. Lots of jobs would go to the Philippines
2. Philippines would now earn the dollar
3. It is easier to travel to and from the U.S.A.

The people wouldn't be dirt poor anymore. Ask Filipinos, and most are in favor of Philippines becomig a U.S. state. practically speaking it will be good. No more Greedy Power Hungry politicians. Political system really sucks eh. I cant blame why most Filipino professional (like me) leave the country.. they are not well paid. Its a shame.

kawawa ang mga politicians natin..magugutom sila...wala na silang pambili ng magagarang kotse..wala na rin silang pamasahe at pang hotel tuwing may laban si pacquiao..at sa kangkongan sila pupulutin..

yap uunlad talaga tayu, ang problema kasi nuon, mga grandfathers natin ayaw pumayag kasi sawa na kasi sila sa "pagiging alipin daw" kasi tingnan mu, sinakop tayu nang espanya, tapos, hapon tapos americano, yan tuloy ayaw na magpa alipin, during the transition na nagiging independent na tayu dun unti unting guamgapang ang economiya natin, sabi pa nang pl sci teacher namin nuon it was during the marcos reign that our economy was at peak, tayu lang yata ang merun nuclear power plant sa southeast asia. palatandaan iyun na malakas tayu nuon, pero ngayun anung nangyari? marahil magaling pagka gawa ang constitution natin dahil sa maraming check and balance pero naaubos nang opisyal. tsk tsk.

Magiging second rate citizen lang ang mga Pinoy na walang silbi. Yung mga marunong sa buhay kayang makipagcompete sa mga americans, kahit saan kahit kailan. IMO lang

Let's be realistic, the US would always love to have our natural resources even our natural breasts women hehe!
but it would never accept the 91 Million people! (40% beyond poverty) kawawa din ang us kung sakali, It'll be like one big and very hungry mouth to feed before they could actually settle-in here. I mean, with all our [country's] debts and all.

dont know kung uunlad pero gusto ko yung change... para sa akin fail yung mga old school candidates... 2000 na andyan pa rin sila pero hindi ko pa rin nararamdaman pag unlad

well for me para ngang mababaliwala yung pinag laban nang ating mga national hero dati.. pero iba naman kasi yung dati saka ngayon.. dati inaalipin tau pinapahirapan kaya lumaban lang ang mga kababayan natin... pero now? kung mangyayari un sana mag paturo nalang tau mag patakbo nang maayos n goverment.. d naman lahat kano s politika.. may mga pinoy din.. ang nakakatakot lang baka umabuso ang mga kano at apak apakan nanaman tayo.. sure magkakaroon nanaman nang mga new heroes :D
