“Ferdinand E. Marcos’s greatest moment was EDSA 1, when he was no longer just a bar topnotcher of unprecedented record, or the most decorated Filipino hero of World War II, or when he became President of the Philippines or the only reelected President of the Republic, but Ferdinand E. Marcos’s greatest moment was EDSA 1 when as President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the most powerful man in the country, he did not use Power to Hurt or Kill those who betrayed him, but He used Power Selflessly for Peace and Love. At this point He no longer was just a Bar Topnotcher, War Hero, President or Father of a Country, at this point in President Ferdinand E. Marcos’s life, he too had become a Mother of the Nation, with Selfless and Endless Love for his Country and People”

i don't know why people hate Marcos  so much

mas marami pang namatay na journalist sa panahon ni GMA
mas marami pang inutang ang panahon ni GMA
mas rampant ang corruption from an SK chairman to policeman to a ordinary citizen

I bet Bongbong Marcos will run to presidency and surely he will win

dahil lahat ng nakaka-usap ko mas "MAGANDA PA ANG PANAHON Ni MCcoy Kaysa Ngayon"

Actually either marcos, aquino, arroyo, or any other president in place, it will never change that our nation along with other Asian countries have been slaves of the global elite. During Marcos' era was a testing ground for global Martial Law, he was backed up by the U.S. government, member of then pre-Asean SEATO, and it was suspected that the Marcos' power and gold was exploited by the CIA, the bankers, and the U.S. millitary. But they played him like a puppet and left alone when EDSA broke out, switching sides because they know once Marcos was ousted, he will be no use to them financially. Baon na talaga sa utang ang Pinas since after pre-war. Ang dami na ng pina-utang ng IMF, at Federal Reserve sa atin even before Marcos' time, and these so-called loans tripled during the Marcos term. These loans are mga utang natin na alam nilang imposible tayong makapag-bayad dahil sa laki ng interest at other hidden derivatives. And I fear that history may repeat it self na akala natin umuunlad tayo dahil may financial aid at foreign investment, pero in truth bumabaksak na U.S. Take a look around and see what's happening to today's foreign influence with PNoy.

Just my two cents.

naalala ko ang sinabi ni boss SG sa mga ganitong klase ng usapan:

"the only way to change our country is to gather all men and form again as a small nation"

lahat ng gustong sumama, sumama. at lahat ng ayaw, maiwan sa poder ng kasalukuyang pinuno.
"THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE REAL."
