Topic: Stereograms (optical illusion)

I know this is an old optical illusion but I just want to share it for those who haven't heard about it yet.

These are called stereograms.
If you look at the picture the right way, you will see a more enhanced picture if not a totally different 3D Text or image.
Start with the easy one and try to move to the more hard ones.

If you still don't get it after reading the tips, don't worry, not a lot of people gets it the first time.

mas maganda kung print nyo muna tapos ilagay sa board, lagyan ng plastic cover or i-print sa glossy na papel. dapat kase jan parang magpapakaduling ka muna.

tips:

- hold the image about an inch close to your eyes
- slowly move the image away until you can see an image

1. Pick a spot on the picture (the middle seems to work best) and just stare at it.

2. Allow your eyes to relax, don't just stare AT the image, try to stare THROUGH it. You'll notice your eyes will go slightly out of focus. This is normal.
3. Keep staring, don't give up, once you begin to see the first image, it gets much easier.

Salamat sa paglagay mo ng tips.
Yung makikita nyo sa 3D Fishes, yung mga isda, parang lumulutang. Walang nakatago na picture, yung mga isda lang parang lumalabas sa monitor.

I get frequent questions concerning positive physiological affects for the eyes from viewing stereograms. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence for this. In fact, the primary publications of my work claim eyesight improvement. I also get email from Doctors, and other viewers that claim vision improvement. However, I tell people, I was nearsighted before I began creating stereograms, and I am even more nearsighted now. Who's to say I am not less nearsighted than I might have become? I truthfully don't know if stereograms help the eyes, or not.

Ang ginagawa ko naman, stare at it lang kahit 2 to 5 seconds tapos mag duling kayo ng konting konti lang, parang mag auto focus na yung mata. Pag nakita na yung object tapos move mo ulo mo, the background moves also in opposite direction.

adjustment ng vision lang to.. it's like looking at the image using your peripheral view..meaning nakatingin ka sa malayo.. parang you try foucus your vision behind the picture.. works for me..
