Pldt mydsl now offers watchpad.

PLDT myDSL Launches Watchpad

PLDT myDSL subscribers gets another upgrade feature from PLDT via PLDT myDSL Watchpad which enables its subscribers to watch some of the hottest channels and TV Shows for free. Avaiable for PLAN 999 and up including plan 1995 and 3000 subscribers.

Channels that are now availble are MTV, Voom HDTV, Go Channel, PBO, and CNBC and more to follow.

To Avail this service all subscribers just need to register at http://www.pldtwatchpad.com/ and install Watchpad Media Player.

Min. System Requirements are

    * .NET Framework 2.0 and above
    * Latest Adobe Flash player
    * Windows Media Player 9 or higher
    * IE 6.0 or higher

*service is still not available for Quick install kit.

followup ko lang bro, wala na po yung voom hd sa lineup ng watchpad..

tinanggal na po...pinalitan na ng ibang content..

still waiting for the feed though... ;D ;D ;D

i've already tried it, pero nung iniinstall ko yung watchpad player may lumalabas na ganitong error


familiar ba kayo dito?

i'm using the latest version of mozilla firefox.

you might need .net framework

usually ie and firefox can download any contents from the net -- provided walang script add-ons na installed sa firefox mo, na usually nagblock ng mga downloads ;)

tsaka may minimum requirement din kasi speed nito..kaya nirerequire na plan 999...

yup usually streaming contents such as movies and teleseryes has to have at least minimum 300kbps .. para maganda un kakalabasan kaya usually required magdownload ng clients such as microsoft silverlight and edge and in this case, watchpad ..

agree..384 to be exact sa current settings ng mga encoders.. pero merong content na naka encode ng 500kbps like yung HQ ng myView.

free ba ito? added service nga, baka meron namang fee, since required ka to log in. and hinihingi yung account number sa sign up.

and hindi naman ako makapagsign up, 2x ng "server is busy"  laffman::

free po yan.. sign up ka lang.. kailangan kasi yung mga info na yan to validate kung pasok sa requirements. like the plan 999...provided na qualified ka, magsesend sa email mo ng username and password..

about sa pagsign up, kung server busy.. tanong ko yung server side kung bakit.. hehehe
