pc shutdown wen using webcam...help?

Any advice bakit magshutdown pc ko pag nag open ng webcam? ORIG ang OS then new installed ang driver sa webcam. tapos ko nang virus scan (ewido online). pero ganun parin.
Sa ibang pc wer pirated ang OS wala naman problema. A4 tech ang webcam brand.

Any idea kung bakit?

virus yan try changing ur antivirus... format mo muna pc mo.. try using avast!

magdownlaod ka dito ng anti virus/anti spyware. wag ka gagamit ng online scan di kasi complete minsan. ano OS mo?

wag ka muna magreformat bosing check mo uli driver or try to reinstall the driver of your webcam..

oo nga, chek mo muna ung driver... bka nag conflict lng. try reinstaling ung drivera and webcam...

ANG OS ko ay XP home edition(original ito, bago lang reformat), i have two webcam
kasi nasa i-shop, sa pirated OS ko na XP (yung kay AMIT TALKIN) walang problema kahit isntalled pa and dalawaang driver sa dalwang klasing webcam. (a4tech at from CRking products)...

sa orig lang talaga cya mag shutdown, yung a4tech na webcam lang. pero yung cr king product ok naman.... ano kaya ang problema...


I have Anti virus Mcafee V8.0i, updated cya...

try mo muna uninstall yun driver ng webcam mo after that try mo kung nagshushutdown kung hindi resolve try going to safe mode kung ok dun e d pwede na if not maybe its a mobo problem kc dati ganyan pc ko auto shutdown yun pla yun mga capacitors ng mobo lumobo na i ended up replacing everything pero kung ok namn sa safe mode pagkatapos mo mag uninstall maybe hindi compatible yan driver mo sa os mo

try checking the capacitors in your mobo...

its possible that you installed the wrong set of drivers. this happened to me once but i was using logitech webcam. i installed a driver from the SAME model webcam but it didn't work. i had to use another driver (i think an updated version)

try to remove the existing driver
