to address the issue, raginghormones is correct, a few members have constantly violated the rules about double posting. and yes they're a bit annoying if you see several posts and they're the same ones (especially when its the same post just posted on different threads)
If I see these, I delete or edit their posts (marami narin and from recent memory, there are two members who repeatedly do this). kaso hindi ko naman nakikita/binabasa lahat ng mga posts dito (nor do I have the time to go through all the new posts made in a day). members can use the report to moderator link to report posts. if other staff come online and have the time, they will check the post and make the necessary adjustments as needed (BUT not all staff have access to all sections of the forum, some have only access to the section they are the moderator of. there are only a select few who have access to all sections in the forum - me being one of them). and recently, kokonte nalang ang staff na nagoonline so hindi na maagapan ang mga reports. so you also can't fault members for calling out others in the open. so long as it was not made with threats, demeaning words and such, personally i allow such post. its constructive. hindi naman naghahanap ng gulo yun post, hindi naman minura ang thread starter. nagkakaron ng gulo if the reaction of the other party tends to be combative and siya ang nagmura, siya yun naghanap ng gulo. thats when I step in
As for chris' concern about edit feature, it does exist but its a privilege only given to certain groups (check you group membership). its not for everyone since naging problema na yan dati. pag nagkaron ng gulo, one side would just edit the their posts and then make it look like it was the other sides fault (i.e. gagawa new account manggugulo then edit then report the other members). and as mentioned, hindi naman nakikita or nababasa agad lahat ng mga posts so when it reaches staff, nahihirapan ang staff to ascertain what exactly happened. hence. the edit feature was changed. its not given to everyone anymore (especially new members)
This forum has been around since 2005, the rules in place here did not just appear out of thin air. they came about through past experiences and serve as a deterring factor to prevent a repeat of the problems encountered before

Wag lang sobrang atat sa pagpost. there is an anti spam in place where you cannot post more than a few times in a span of a certain time, use that time to review your post/s. its not just about you posting, its also about what other members see in the forum
