An Old Man’s Secret
« on: July 17, 2013, 03:41:15 am »
Somewhere in the middle my hand is losing its grip.
Tell me where this is headed, this one-way trip.
It feels like a losing battle, getting tired of the same old plan.
I'm feeling lonely. Tell me, what's your secret old man?

Somehow in this lifetime, my days are starting to slow
Tell me where you’re going, I really wanna know.
The rain pouring down on me, weighing me down and low
I’m getting sick and tired. Tell me, where do I need to go?

Somewhere out in the urban jungle, my senses got old.
Tell me what this is worth, this conformity we were being sold.
The media that should protect us, the same culprit we’ll find.
I don’t know who I am. Tell me, when will you ever mind?

Some things are better left unsaid, stories you’d never hear.
Tell me what’s the use of honesty, or this unreasonable fear?
The bridges are burning, no more getting where we used to be
I’m damn tired and gone. Tell them, why don’t you care about me?
Loved the Beard :)
