Russia is also inviting him asap. i think its a well calculated move. as mentioned, if trump wins, relations will likely go sour. if clinton wins, expect that things will stay the same.
but now, with the sudden change, it will force the US to rethink its strategy in dealing with the Philippines. Perhaps that is the goal all along. to let the US realize that they have not helped as much as they should have (the aid we get pales in comparison to what the US gives to its other allies). with what happened, if trump wins, most likely he wont care about it so the Philippines still doesn't lose since they have a new partner in China. If clinton wins, expect the US will likely be aggressive in trying to improve relations with the Philippines (i.e. the US might probably try to match or even surpass what China offered)

My original point though is you have a choice to choose what to focus on, you can either look at the positive or the negative. The pro looks more on the positive and the anti leans at the negative.
Your question earlier answered for me why anti looks at the negative more. I thank you for that. I understand it more now and respect it. Difference in personal experience is a factor. Maybe i just got used to a more positive way of thinking because of my experiences and it works for me. That doesnt mean it will work for everyone.

Ang pagvvolunteer ay direktang pagtulong sa tao. Kung lahat tayo tumutulong sa pamamagitan ng pagtupad ng ating mga obligasyon sa bansa, hindi na kailangan pagvvolunteer dhil may sapat na pondo at katiwasayan ang bansa para maghire ng tao na gagawa ng mga ginagawa ng volunteer ngayon.

The retard you were talking about just convinced the Chinese to "somehow" acknowledge the Hague ruling regarding the status of Scarborough Shoal (declared as common fishing grounds for both Chinese and the Philippines) which the previous administration together with the US not able to do in 4 years.
Now, Scarborough Shoal is open to Filipino Fishermen. Though there is no written agreement yet "due to the words to be used" said Harry Roque, there is a "modus vivendi" to allow our local fishermen to go and fish there.
That's what a retard can do where a Wharton or an Ateneo Grad together with the US failed to do in the last 4 years.
Remember even within our family not all has likable personalities. But we accept that person as "what he is" because he's family. But even that doesn't necessarily mean approving what we do not like about that person.
