I'm a registered nurse and reason ko kaya gusto ko mag join just to prove myself for something great. thanks mga co spies!

Di ba ito yung Mason? not so secret yung organization nila dito, may mga ritual-like pakulo pa nga sila. I'm not sure kung kelangang mayaman, medyo mayayabang lang yung nakikita ko eh, tipong asa sa magulang hahaha.
I'd qualify them as elitists with very loose standards.

yeah, some of them mayayabang talaga pero may mga kilala ako na down to earth talaga.

ASK1 2B1.
Are you a Mason sir? If yes, May I join?
-
http://kagitinganlodge286.masons.ph/KL286becomingamason.shtml
-
yup try to look for the mason lodge on your area,, just an info, you don't need to start fom being a demolay to enter as a mason,, demolay is a group made for the mason member's sons to start from (back in the 90's only mason member's sons are allowed to be a member of the demolay but then rules were changed). just follow the info on the link given by sir abdul jahkool...
you don't need to be of high born or a member of the rich and famous, it is called free masonry for a reason...
BTW, US ex-president Bill Clinton was a Senior Demolay and wasn't upgraded to a mason since he was afraid to take the oath and some hazing of being one... (heard this from my uncle who has a position as a mason)

kelangan mo po pera :)
pramis
kaya sa ibang lugar sya sumali, kasi may kasabay sya, so nag-hati hati sila
free masons used to have a clean name, pero ngagyon, parang, kundi pulitiko, retired servicemen galing sa U.S ang members.
-
Hindi physical ang initiation nila. more on mental and phsycological. At talagang kailangan mo mag tyaga. May inaabot ng taon bago maging mason. Also pag may isang member ang ayaw sayo, sorry k nlng.
And finally, as with everything in life. Never the less, dapat kaya mo makibagay sa kanilang lahat.

Other than that, hindi mo kailangang magbayad para makasali.
P.S. Hindi po ako mason, but my father is. As such im very familiar with the application process.

di ko din alam, at di ko din ma-gets.
siguro yung mga dating kalakran, walang ganun.
sa ngayon, ewan.

Chavit Singson is a member of that cult .. may stiker sa sasakyan nya sa likod ..
-
I'm just a simple person now and before, wala akong masyadong friends (I have some, pero pili ko lang talaga)
now gusto ko ma-affliate, gusto ko makipag interact and socialize na, I regret myself being an introvert before.
taga tondo manila ako, and if baka may mga kakilala kayo dyan mga co spies na pwede mag "endorse" sa akin.

Napansin niyo yung sticker nila? Hindi yung angle ruler and compas logo nile but one with a cryptic message? Anyone know what it means?
One time I had a meeting with a guy who was presenting his company as a possible supplier. Natawa ako kasi he had everying on him that says he was a mason: a notebook with the seal, a big ring with the seal, a lapel pin with the seal, and a sticker on his laptop bag. I said "Let me guess, something tells me Mason ka noh?" ::)
-
Yung mga nag sasabi na cult ang masonry are those who really know nothing about it.. freemasonry is not a cult, they dont worship or give offerings to supernatural beings as some might think.. You have to understand that masonry is an ancient order, as such their rites are based on ancient symbolisms that may seem cult-like to those not familiar with it.
its not true either na anti christ ang mga mason and against the church. Theyre not, in fact one of their more popular description is "a brotherhood of men under the fatherhood of GOD". Belief in the existance of a superior being is one of the requirements of freemasonry. However, they do not hold one religion/belief over another. Catholic, muslim, budhist etc. Lahat yan ay parepareho lang sa kanila.
Also, its not a secret society. Why else would members put stickers on their cars? But its a society with secrets.

why would you join any fraternity in the first place? Why do people join APO, Sigma Rho, etc.. or any other groups? What do they look for? What do they gain by joining?
Anong silbi ng mason sa pinas? You do know that Jose Rizal is a mason right? Check out other national heroes and you'll find out that a number are freemasons.. look around you, in govenment and in the private sector. Past and present. You'll see that a lot of them in the top positions are also freemasons.
Not just in the Philippines.. Freemasonry is one of the most inffluencial brotherhood in the entire world. Now ask yourself again why people would want to join..
also hindi porke demolay ka or anak k ng mason eh automatic na magiging mason ka na..
-

Will you kindly explain where you get this number? At para saan po yan? As ive said, hindi naman hinihingan ng bayad para maging member. and not all free masons are rich. I know for a fact that some members are not capable of shelling out that much cash.. yet they are masons never the less..

Ah yes, alam kong may significant history yung freemasons from other countries and it does seem to have done a lot of things for the world.. pero dito ba?
In any case, mukhang influence ang habol ng sumasali, but influence enough to do what? anong end-goal ngayon at anong ginagawa nila para marating yun in the PH context?
-
basta pasado ko sa requirements nila, makakapasok ka plus kaya mo sila isponsor kapag pumunta yung mga taga ibang bansa dito na member din, bukod pa dun as long as sisiw lang ba maglabas sayo ang hundred thousand kahit simpleng tao ka lang wh not? ;)

isn't curiousity is the reason enough to join?

Just a Short list.. From there you'll get the idea on how Freemasons are involved in the Philippines..
Unfortunately, its true that a lot of people join-up in order to gain Affiliations and Influence. They believe freemasonry will open doors for them. Imagine if your Boss is a Mason? If you become one yourself he will be your "Brother". Imagine if you're a businessman, and the person you are trying to strike a deal with is a Freemason, how well do you think your meeting will go if you're a mason yourself? Imagine if you're a young officer in the military and your General is a Mason. Freemasons are required to help each other, Im sure by now you get the point..
That is also the reason why its difficult to enter, alam din nila na may mga taong gusto makapasok para magamit ang pagiging mason sa pangsariling interest..
-

If you're curious then I suggest you talk to a member that can tell you more about the masonic way of life. I would recommend finding someone who is a "master" or "past master" as they are the ones who knows what masonry is all about. Nothing wrong with asking an "apprentice" or "fellowcraft' (lowest ranks) but don't expect to much from them.. Usually sila din yung mga mason na may kayabangan..

that's exactly my point. like I've said nung college ako, may mga kilala ako na masons daw sila, or kahit nga demolay palang sila eh kaya lang di ko gusto personality nila dahil may pagka 'hangin' nga sila.

"2B1 Ask1" or "Ask1 2B1"
Sir, if you really want to join, I think its best for you to know your reasons... Curiosity for one, pero I think you should need more than that. The tag-line 2b1 ask1 is true if you really want to join the brotherhood, just approach a brother and ask, he will tell you what to do... In order to join, no one knows what is going to happen, you are all by yourself, kahit sabihin pang kilala mong mason eh Lodge Master or even G.M. you need to do what the other brothers did.
In looking for a lodge, I think its best to go to the nearest to your place, ask when they meet.. from there you will understand how easy/hard it is... ingat lang po pag kakatok... may mga process po yan, and pag blackball ka, betterluck on other lodges.
Best advice I can give to you brother is, ALAMIN MO MUNA ANG DAHILAN MO BAKIT KA SASALI..
not just to know what the compass and the square mean.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
