well back in november 2012 first naka encounter ako ng girl from a club and we have sex without using condom(not a smart decision)sabi nya malinis daw cya so i trust her kasi kapitbahay namin cya :( since then i started getting sick may preauricular lymph node na tumubo sakin sa may tenga banda kala ko pimples lng(first sign of hiv) after weeks then nag ka dry cough ako(another sign of HIV) for weeks grabe ubo hindi ako makatulog kahit may antibiotics.. AFTEr a month nagtataka ako bkit parate ako may diarrhea until now (another sign :( ) nag ka develop ako ng depression ndi ako makatulog wala gana kumain work everthing worry ako about this. HELP ESPIYA kahit advice lng pero i know talga na i have this kinda virus..
ngayn monday pupunta na ako sa doctor pra sa hiv test and find out kng ano ba talga tongayun lng ako na takot ng ganito in my whole life :(

the symptoms you have may or may not be related to a sexually transmitted disease. even if it were, there are tons of other STDs that can cause those kind of symptoms
the only way to tell for sure is get tested
yung sinasabi mong parang lymph node sa likod ng tenga, thats nothing to be afraid of, its very common and most of the time wala namang problema yan. kahit ako merong maliit na parang bukol sa likod ng tenga ko na parang pimple pero hindi naman pimple, sobrang tagal na nito hindi ko na nga matandaan kung kelan nagsimula. pag pinilit kong putukin dudugo siya then after a few days balik ulit sa ganun
yung ubo mo naman, that could be caused by lots of viruses, especially sa panahon ngayon na init, ulan, init, ulan. usong uso ang mga cold-like viruses

Madaming similar na symptoms na ibang sakit sa na observe mo sa sarili mo. My opinion lang po, parang paranoid ka lng ata or psycho somatic lang yan. To really find out, test lang talaga kailangan. I hope di ka positive sa HIV, which is most probable sa tingin ko. Keep us updated ha. Interested ako kasi may friend ako eh nag positive HIV, sayang pasakay pa naman sya ng barko, pero sa kuwento nya almost a decade na ung possible contact na pwede nya makuha iyong sakit. And up to now wala naman siya major symptoms tulad ng sinasabi mo TS.

ewan ko kng paranoid ako,worry lng talga ako at takot kasi i know na almost 90 percent sa tingin ko lumalabas yng mga sintomas ng virus alam ko kasi sarili ko to eh kaya sobrang takot ko ngaun :(

i dunno if it's just me, but i find this odd...
if it were me, i would take the test first before saying anything to a lot of people. if it is negative, good, life goes on. if it is positive, that's the time i tell anyone about it.
but that's just my personal opinion.

I stopped smoking last 2009 and then syempre, I experienced withdrawal symptoms like nilagnat ako, dryness of the mouth, light headedness, dry cough for 2 weeks then after that i checked on the internet and voila! I have cancer (well, thats what my brain says). Kung ano yung nabasa kong mga symptoms sa WEBMD or whatever health websites that i visited, isa isa kong naramdaman and my Dad, who's a doctor is always laughing at me whenever i tell him na may masama akong nararamdaman, eh siyempre ako naman, wanting to know the truth, sabi ko i check up mo ko, which my dad agreed upon, so the results came back, im healthy, im clean, but im not satisfied, sabi ko sa Dad ko Daddy papacheck ulit ako sa ibang doctor(cause i am really really fucked up that time and i wanted a 2nd opinion). Then yun na nga, punta ko sa ibang doctor, had my blood chemistry done, went to get the results, and it is the same as to what my dad had when he checked on me. Then the Doctor asked me "Ano ba talaga ang nararamdaman mo? did you lose someone or something very important?" Sabi ko naman, Doc i stopped smoking, Cold Turkey, sabi niya "So that must be it, you are Anxious about your health, did you check the internet on symptoms that you are experiencing?" Sabi ko Oo Doc. So sabi niya, that's it, you are perfectly fine, normal lahat sayo. What you are experiencing is psychosomatic, its all in the mind. Then pinayuhan niya ko to do something na mapapagod ako like mag gym or maglaro ng maglaro ng kahit anong sports and niresetahan ako ng V's para pampakalma.
Kaya mo yan bro, pacheck up ka na, and balikan mo kami dito para sa resulta mo, you might be experiencing what i experienced too 4 years ago. God bless

Ang masasabi ko lang bro, STOP SYMPTOM-CHASING! Lay off the internet and stop reading would-be symptoms. This is the most dangerous thing that you could do. It wont do you any good, plus you'll get more and more confused about the symptoms! Here are some things that you need to look at:
1.) Around 10 days to a few weeks, dito magsisimula ang symptoms which is just a typical viral syndrome. More like a flu. A combination of headache, joint pains, fever, colds, some rashes, some swollen lymph nodes and less commonly diarrhea. Other symptoms may also appear. BUT, these symptoms would generally appear altogether. Not one by one.
2.) If you want to get tested, know the type of test and know the concept of seroconverstion (the time when your blood turns from negative to positive). If you plan to get an antibody test, which is the gold standard of HIV tests, take it no less than 3 months from exposure as antibodies may not be present in your blood yet. ELISA is an antibody test. It will not look for the virus itself so you have to wait for the seroconversion time frame before an antibody test can be accurate.
3.) If you are too anxious and malapit nang mabaliw, go for NAAT test or Nucleic Acid test. Although this is not the gold standard for testing, this will be accurate as early as 10-14 days from exposure. It will look for the virus itself, thus there's no need to wait for the seroconversion time. This is usually used by blood banks to screen donors.
I got the NAAT test at 3rd week and another antibody test at 3rd month. I'm cleared. That whole situation changed my life and it was a drastic turning point for me. I suffered anxiety and depression for over half a year and muntik na akong tumalon galing sa rooftop ng building namin. A lot of things have changed and it made me appreciate the simplest things in life. Believe me, I am in the same exact situation you are in right now, if not worse. You'll get by. Good luck. :)

Imagine my horror when the antibody test at 3rd month returned reactive. It was sent to San Lazaro for confirmatory and I had to wait for another 4 weeks for the result. This was the hardest part and the darkest time of my life. Dito ako muntik nag suicide. Nung dumating ang result, it turned out to be false reactive. So in conclusion, negative ako.

As an atheist.. I'd say, deal with it. There's nothing you can do, there was something you could've done but you didn't do it. You're at fault. If I were you, if it really is AIDS, spend time with your family make every minute count. Have it checked pare, I'm hoping for the best. Get at least 3 or more opinions from different doctors or test labs, sometimes doctors and tests do f*ck it up..
A theist would say pray or I'll pray for you at the end of it all you'll still have to deal with it yourself.

OMG is this real?. mahilig ako dating mag chat at eyeball, minsan nauuwi sa motel the first EB palang. Meron pa ako FUBU na sa call center daw sya nag wowork. Mas gusto ko yung ibat ibang putahe yung kinakain ko. Naging life changing yung nagkaroon ako ng tulo from another SEB, and to make things worst nahawaan ko yung longterm GF ko.
Im not sure kung nahawaan ko rin yung isang ka SEB ko lang din, sayang yun kamukha ni Cassandra Ponti. Hindi na kami nag communicate since sinabi ko na baka nahawaan ko sya.

Ang HIV/AIDS po TS wala talagang S/S. Pinapahina niya immune system mo kaya madali ka lang kakapitan ng mga opportunistic infections. I am refering to infections na nasa katawan mo pero di active until mahina na immune system mo. Acute respiratory i.fection lang yang nararanasan mo kung ako tatanungin. Yung bukol sa likod ng tenga pwedeng dahil sa TB or iba pang infection sa baga. Pwede ka ding magkadiarrhea kung productive yung ubo mo.
The best way is to get tested para di ka na din masyadong nag-iisip.
Anyway goodluck sa iyo at sana ay tama ako na lung infection lang yan.

The thing is ...... nothing is conclusive yet until you get yourself tested .... the most responsible thing you can do right now is get yourself tested....if worst case scenario became a reality....don't despair.....it is not the end of the world for you....it is true that HIV/AIDS has no cure yet....but...there are drugs....anti-retroviral drugs....which by the way is free.....can put on check the HIV virus......I have seen cases of people having worse symptoms than you have....became suddenly healthy after having anti-retroviral therapy ..... the only thing is ...if you are infected...you need to be extra careful when engaging in intimate encounters....anyway....if you turn out to be positive.....the whole package will be given to you...including counselling...your identity will be kept confidential....and you will have pre and post counselling so that you can cope with the burden of being infected with HIV.....I have known a lot of HIV positive individuals who do their usual routine in life...living normally.....and happily.....btw...I'm working with HIV/AIDs before and doing counselling work for PLHA (people living with HIV/AIDS) not here in the Philippines but in other countries when I was still a development worker....I hope this helps.....!!!!

FYI lang, ang HIV infection ay asymptomatic, meaning wala ka mararamdaman kahit meron ka na. Ang AIDS naman, yan ang sakit na nakukuha mo from HIV. Medyo matagal pa bago ito lumabas, years pa ang incubation period. Hanggang mga 10 years. Pero yung test pwede na mag positive kahit wala ka pa aids. So yeah, ingat na lang tayo lahat.

well back in november 2012 first naka encounter ako ng girl from a club and we have sex without using condom(not a smart decision)sabi nya malinis daw cya so i trust her kasi kapitbahay namin cya :( since then i started getting sick may preauricular lymph node na tumubo sakin sa may tenga banda kala ko pimples lng(first sign of hiv) after weeks then nag ka dry cough ako(another sign of HIV) for weeks grabe ubo hindi ako makatulog kahit may antibiotics.. AFTEr a month nagtataka ako bkit parate ako may diarrhea until now (another sign :( ) nag ka develop ako ng depression ndi ako makatulog wala gana kumain work everthing worry ako about this. HELP ESPIYA kahit advice lng pero i know talga na i have this kinda virus..
ngayn monday pupunta na ako sa doctor pra sa hiv test and find out kng ano ba talga tongayun lng ako na takot ng ganito in my whole life :(

UNsolicited advice lang sa mga kapatid natin, ingat kayo mag ala-Rambo. Mas mabuti na mag condom. Kung hindi, stick to one gf na lang (at a time).

There are lots of times na nakaka tempt talaga na hindi gumamit ng condom. Kasi alam naman talaga natin lahat na kapag may condom ay very artificial ang pakiramdam. Parang nagsa salsal ka lang ng sarili mo. Di maramdaman ng ayos ang wetness at warmth ng pussy/anal. Minsan iisipin mo pang "safe naman siguro ito" lalo na kapag ang ka-sex mo mukang maingat naman.
Pero paano ba ang gagawin. Sobrang delikado. Nabasa ko pa noon na minsan yung sakit di pa rin kaagad detected kahit pa magpa laboratory test muna yung kapartner mo bago kayo magsex. Kasi minsan daw after 1-2 weeks pa bago malalaman infected pala.
