i think the unlicensed nature of the firearm is what is questionable here. can't blame TS at backyard lang sila (sa kweba in his own term). but if it is of the same caliber and no other violations to the other provisions for a fireamr to be licensed, as prescribed by FED, antay lng nga amnesty, pwede na yan.

i beg to disagree. anything in the hands of criminals can be used to kill, you name it - ballpen, toothbrush, flashlight, etc - the list goes on. do you mean to say, a gun used by a police to neutralize a would be suicide bomber - say someone who strapped himself with enough explosive gum to flatten a mall is still used negatively?
just for the sake of arguement, lets say a high-ranking official of the pnp or army got a hold of you and ordered a sniper rifle. that rifle was used to neutralize the would be suicide bomber stated above, he was just shot to paralyze, say shoulders such that officers positioned near could grab and pin him down. you'd still see your "creation" or "baby" as the "worst invention"? you'd see the gunshot of the criminal as opposed to the thousands saved from the explosion?
nasa gamit lang yan, brad. pag nasa mabuting kamay, maganda ang mapaggagamitan. kaya nga ang firearm is always considered the last option. if all else fails and the cost of life to take is less that the damage he / she could make, then use of "the last option" is justified.

Hehe. hindi sir. I'm not really into guns. Last year lang ako natuto gumamit ng baril. Medyo nakakatuwa din, that's whay almost every 2nd week, pumapasyal kami). Yung iba ko kasi kamag anak nakapunta na sa Danao at nakabili don. I've heard stories about yung .50 caliber na pede mo ma-acquire sa kanila (medyo hindi detalyado yung kwento e, kung pede ka umorder o ano). Pati pistol na bala ng armalite ang nakalagay, meron din.

i believe however small the projectile, it still needs licensing and will never be "turned down" by authorities only because it is "too small" a caliber. just the fact that it can be used for "sniper" purposes already puts more weight to its capabilities, if this is true.

given that what i posted is a picture of my Colt HPR in enfant form, which was formerly a full-length HPR, i guess your reason is valid. the reason why i choose it is because it already has a tread for silencer attachment, however, given your apprehension, i'll volounteer my m14, since it is still stock and shoots accurately.
