Mga Sir, can we gps track someone else phone number? Please kindly share if you have any idea
-
simple answer no. GPS and mobile phone are different technologies. if you want to track a mobile number, then track the signal from the cell tower. you don't need a GPS for that. and vice versa. you can track someone with a GPS device, no need for phone.
although to improve accuracy, newer devices use both GPS and phone signal to give a more precise location

globe and smart both have phone tracker systems. sa globe, Tracker and tawag, 7000 ang access number. sa smart, personfinder ang service, 386 ang access number.
for both services, the number being tracked has to give permission to the number that wants to track.
-
i forgot to add this: the services do not use GPS. they use cell site signals to find the approximate location of the mobile numbers.

As posted above, mas madali pa magtriangulate kaysa manghijack ng on-device feature hehe.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman na for consumer use na din pala yung tracking nila, all the while ang alam ko e for police work lang available yan from our local providers.

yung tracking service nila ay offered for parents and their kids. para natatrack ng parents whereabouts ng bata.
kaya yung mga nakarecieve ng CP with sim from their parents magduda na kayong baka naka-activate ang tracker ::laffman

Thanks guys

ung sa smart more than 10 years na ata ung feature na un... un lang, the other person needs to give permission for you to track them down... and i don't think it's that easy...
