Mukang legit nga ito. Me customer ako sa shop ko na naggaganyan, lagi nahiram ng webcam sa akin tapos gagamit ng skype. Dinig ko ang usapan nila, at mukang nagtuturo ng english. Nakita ko yung kausap nya, koreana sh*t ang ganda. Maganda nga tong trabahong ito hehehehe

actually ang mga studyante mo dito beginner din halos karamihan.. usually japanese... may option ka na mag webcam or meron.. pag may webcam 5php lang ang incentive per class.. 30minutes lng ang isang class.. sulit toh para sa mga students o dun sa mga nagbabalak mag masteral. :applause dati exclusive to for UP students/graduates/faculty. ngayun open na for all.. Guys this is legit.. my brother is doin this for almost 4 months already.. he is teaching japanese - english.. malaki din ang kita kung masipag ka.. pero ayos din kung part time kasi hawak mo ung oras mo.. yun nga lang kapag walang estudyante na nagenroll sayo for that day kahit online ka wala ka kita. ganun ang intindi ko.. kasi ung brother ko matagal din walang studyante nung tsunami days sa japan..

Hmmm sa payment po.. if you have BPI or PNB account wala ka na problem.. pag wala po you can printout a letter po na parang magiging payroll account. Yung letter ipapakita mo po sa BPI or PNB tapos dun nila ifoforward.
Payment is every 10th of the month.. pero Pang 1 month ung salary... So ang salary mo for may will be given sa june 10
Regarding training.. Online lang po. Walang certification po.. But this company is very famous sa Japan lately.. so maganda rin xa sa resume if ever.. And you have a chance to interact with the owner sa skype.
Pwedeng pwede tlga toh sa mga taong may work, may day off, may school =D lahat pwede nyahaha.. andami nga nagmamasteral dahil dito e.. pambayad nila sa masters ung income nila. tpos hindi pa xa toxic maxado

About sched. as much as possible 30 minutes to 1 hour before the sched dapat online ka na sa skype. They will ask you if you are online kasi. Ako I sign in sa skype using my touch habang nsa skul (retain kasi online sa skype pag touch ka nag signin) so ndi ako nalelate.
Absent/Late = 204 pag may student, 208 pag walang student.. inaadd up nila ito divided by your total lessons schedules for the month tapos tsinetsek ang percentage.. Dapat hindi ka lalabas sa 15% "Cancellation Ratio"

I have been working here for a year or so and I can already get 25K+ a month because of this.:)) To know the basics of English is enough to qualify for the tutor position but as you go along, you would need to arm yourselves with more than just the basics...otherwise students will feel your incompetence and later on look for better tutors who can provide better lessons.
In my experience,native American accent could be an edge. Japanese students are aware of the Filipino accent and some would not prefer it as they would want to be groomed to be native like speakers.:)
But as of now, you could try applying because the opportunity to earn a lot is very huge. (even better than what full time workers can get). You can improve your English skill in the long run anyway.
This is a good work experience and a good way to earn money but keep in mind that this must not only be your motivation in teaching. You must have the passion to teach to acquire loyal students.

pwede bang hindi full time dito? parang part time kumbaga. Currently employed kasi ako ngayon sa isang call center at ang pasok ko is within UK hours. 3 PM- 6 AM manila time. Minsan ang shift ko is 3PM to 12 PM and 9 Pm to 6 AM.

TS wala yung school ko dun sa accredited nila so hindi ako naka pasa sa pre assesment, pwede bang maglagay ng ibang school which is malapit sa amin na nasa list nila? will they ask any school credentials kung sakali?

Nag apply na ako dito after almost a year din and I find it interesting though di pa ako nagsisimula magturo. Share ko lang din ang aking experience.
So I have a friend na QA ko before sa isang call center and she said nga na she is on RareJob. She is quite good sa English and matalino/smart, kaya no wonder na enjoy nya. I left the call center na pinagtatrabahuhan ko kasi pagod na ako sa schedule and parating palalim sa gabi ang binibigay ang schedule sa akin though may morning at mid shifts kami don.
After looking for other "normal working hours" jobs, hindi ko muna ito inapplyan until earlier this month. May callbacks na ako sa mga bangko, ibang call centers at small businesses, pero hindi ko tinuloy kasi nga naintriga na ako dito sa RareJob. Sino ba namang may gusto pa umalis ng bahay para magtrabaho, (may iba syempre preferred na ganon, pero homebody kasi ako) plus tipid pa kasi wala nang gastos sa gas, pamasahe at pagkain. So nag apply ako, after 2 days, may tumatawag sa akin, pero hindi ko nasagot dahil iba pa ang bodyclock ko. So in my waiting, nag apply rin ako sa iba which is PIKT. Well, hindi ako naimpress kasi hindi masyado magaling yung interviewer ko. I went on with that, nagdemo at sesetup daw ako ng meeting sa CEO na Indyano. That night, tumawag sa akin ang RareJob habang nasa mall ako. I was so impressed kasi ang galing ng kausap ko, sanay talaga mag interview at masaya kausap. (ETO IMPORTANTE PAG NAG APPLY KAYO) Pinadefine sa akin two words: Compliment and Complement. Dahil tanga ako minsan, pinaiba ko yung set ng words ko: Conscious at Conscience. Nadefine ko naman ng tama, kahit nag stutter ako at may mga fillers, pasok pa rin ako sa banga. Nagsetup ng Demo tutorial kinabukasan at nag email sya ng guidelines along with the mock lessons.
On the afternoon ng mock lessons, sobrang kabado ako, todo bihis kasi akala ko required ang webcam, hindi naman pala. Sinabi ng trainer ko na wag na lang daw i-on ang camera. So I went on with the demo, tinulungan muna nya ako paano magru-run ang demo at pano diskarte ang gagawin ko. She said na tatawag ako ng 2 minutes after the orientation. The demo went on at nagulat ako kasi ang galing nya mag-Japanese impression at Japanese accent. Parang crush ko na nga eh. haha! Nalito lang ako kasi sinabi nung interviewer sakin nung tinanong ko sya, na may morning shifts daw pag weekdays. Base sa sinabi ng TS dito sa thread at sa mga nabasa ko sa FAQs nila, mukhang 5-12AM pag weekdays lang at 8am onwards pag weekends. I'm looking forward sana na morning sa weekdays kasi may isa pa akong part time work sa radyo during that time.
Pasensya na kung mahaba. Sana ay na enlighten ko kayo ng konti kung nasan na ako now sa application process. Sabi ng friend ko, masaya naman daw at nakakatuwa, so meaning madali lang naman. Tiyaga lang ang kelangan dito para maka earn din kahit 20k per month. Tutal, morning naman sa weekends, pwede pa gumimik sa gabi di ba? Nasa bahay ka pa. 5 hours lang per day. Ang gusto ko rin dito, isang bagsakan ang sahod. Hindi yung kinsenas na ang hirap hirap ibudget. At least pag hawak mo nang lahat ang pera, may matitira at matitira pa rin.
TS, or sa mga tutors dito, may mga questions din ako, penge naman skype IDs nyo mga pre. Sa mga ka Espiya ko, apply na rin kayo, hanap tayo ng mga chicks na Haponesa. Haha!

To update my journey as a RareJob tutor, nagsimula na ako nung Monday. I have selected 5PM-10PM na schedule pero panget pala, kasi dapat pa-gabi ang schedule para may magbook sayo. Kapag walang estudyante, hindi bayad ang oras, so intay intay lang.
Nagka estudyante na rin ako, hindi lang natuloy kasi nakamobile si mokong at mukhang mahina signal.
Pangalawa kong estudyante okay naman, kasi babae. Maganda pa! Sales person daw sya.

@boylait alam ko puwede. Though may extra na incentives kapag may webcam ka. Tsaka parang iniimplement nila na magcamera ang tutor dapat, though di ako sure ha. Pero ako minsan hindi ako nakawebcam.

Question lang mga ser. Naka register nako. papano pag walang BIR? OFW kasi ako na naghahanap ng trabaho. Nagexpire na kasi contract ko.
And BPI lang ba yung tinatanggap nilang account? Hindi ba pwede BDO or Paypal?

If the company requires college graduate then your papers wont help you no matter how you rant about your situation, perhaps find other company that fits your CV.
