I was actually reffering to some ignorant (Eddie Villanueva?! Pweh!)or somehow brainless reaction about this thread which is totally unecessary. There's a mile difference when you use your brain (gray matter) than using your mouth alone without even thinking. This thread was exclusively made for Eddie Villlanueva tard and obviously some people just only focus on the negative side of the person than at least giving the guy a slack. Some people just makes me sick sometimes, they only know how to complain or bastardize other people when they don't even do something to help to resolve of what are they complaining about and convince me again tard that my comment is somehow useless.

Since the last time that he lost the Presidential derby and just before the campaign period for this coming election, wala ako nabalitaan na ginawa nya to help generate jobs, fund community projects, establish community-based income generating projects or even speak publicly on issues that are of national concern. Ibig sabihin ay lumalabas lang sya pag election time na. One who wants to be in the top posts makes public his stand on national issues like the VFA, employment, foreign debt, crime, political killings or even Presidential indiscretions even when there are no election because that is the only way the public can gauge their prospective leader. They want consistency in the actions of every candidate. Pag walang pattern na serbisyong bayan ang ginagawa ng isang kandidato like Mr. Villanueva, I dont think they will ever get a sizable following outside of their flock. These candidates should have followed the way the Americans chose their leader - from the Primaries to the national conventions and debates and how these candidates speak on national issues and lay out their plans to the public. Except those na ginagawa nya as a minister dun sa congregation nila, wala ako nakita or narinig na ginawa nya towards uplifting our kababayan sa loob ng apat na taon. This is a concrete example of a seasonal politician - lulubog lilitaw.

You might be referring to me with the pweh thing. I said pweh because he's running using the resources galing sa pinaghihirapang abuloy ng mga kaanib sa Jesus is Lod Movement niya. Isnt that exactly worth the "pweh!"?

Well be fair, they can take care of the bashing while you can defend him. This is a discussion, everyone can choose his/her own stand on the matter. Like how I can support a serial rapist and you guys could go "pweh, he has to die" or something. Same way that you're entitled to say Eddie V. is a good candidate, and they can say that he is a bad one. Don't get pissed that people don't share your sentiments.

Well it's 2fear's right to choose his candidate but Eddie V. is a nuisance candidate using his followers' money to go after his political ambition. How can a supposedly spiritual leader leader soil himself by immersing himself in the mud of politics? Why go down from the lofty moral position behind the pulpit to wrestle in mud?
Two things, he's either got the messiahnic complex or delusions of grandeur.
If he were really honest in his intention, he should have divested himself from the Jesus is Lord Church before getting into politics.
Following 2fear's logic, isnt he just like Sen. Aquino, who according to 2fear is using his mothers legacy to run, isnt Eddie V. using the mantle of religion in this election? Worst. It's not his mony his squandering on election spending. It's the hard earned money of JILC members. This alone should give him the creeps.
As to Gordon, just like Gibo,he's an unrehabilitated Marcos loyalist; just like Gibo, he is a supporter of Gloria (dont you wonder why he exculpated Gloria and Mike of any liability in the NB-ZTE Deal Scandal?) and worst, he cant even get to convince his nephew to support him. If he is that good, why is J.C. Delos Reyes running against him?

@ paulo, I was extending 2fear's logic to its logical conclusion for the sake of argument. My mistake I suppose was in the manner that I made my statement.

I understand, thanks for elaborating. I was just also opening up the possibilities with that train of thought. To get back on topic, I totally agree with your point. The fact that he is using the money of his followers disgusts me. Some of them may actually contribute to his campaign, I won't include that. But money for his church, should be spent on his church, not for political or personal gain. Sure, you can also argue that the money these followers give was given voluntarily, but from what I understand most of these protestant churches *require* tithes (donations proportional to your earnings) to be paid. Doesn't seem voluntary to me. I don't know if this applies to JIL though, someone please confirm. Reminds me of one of my professors who said "Religion is the most profitable business".
