Our system is basically capitalism so natural na may corruption sa gobyerno. Walang gobyerno na walang corruption. Kailangan din ng mga liderato ng "corruption" to raise money for purposes which are not necessarily "masama". So long as may mga ipinapakitang improvements or mga visible "achievements" sa mga tao lalo na sa basic services, people are satisfied. Mr. Jojo is being accused of a lot of corruption cases but the people of Makati ang nagtatamasa ng napakaraming benepisyo compared with other cities and municipalities.
Napakakitid din naman if we only base our assessment of the Presidential candidates sa mga suspicions of corruption. More than these issues, we have to know their stand on other equally important concerns like their respective stand on unemployment, investments, VFA, crime, summary killings, environment, Mindanao Situation, etc. Their resume on past performances on public services is also a basis of our prediction of their future courses of action.
Pero I am very sure I will vote for Mr. Jojo as VP. Pinayagan nya ang malayang pamamahayag sa Makati when all other cities are emasculating the people's right to redress grievances.
