: Bongbong gets letter supporting presidential run
: pspyrock August 07, 2013, 04:21:56 AM
A chance for Marcos loyalists to elect FM Jr. for president or VP in 2016.
I will still go for Binay for 2016.
May the best man win. And may the winner get the support of all the Filipino people.

Letter says Marcos' presidential run 'inevitable'

MANILA - A letter expressing support for Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as a presidential candidate in the 2016 elections caught the senator by surprise.

"I don't know what this is supposed to be," he said while skimming through the letter, which was distributed to the Senate media on Tuesday.

The letter, addressed to former First Lady and now Rep. Imelda Marcos, called Marcos' presidential run "inevitable."

Among the signatories is lawyer Oliver Lozano, who called his organization Kilusang Bagong Liwanag (KBL) in the letter.

KBL (Kilusang Bagong Lipunan) was the political party of Sen. Marcos' father, the late former President Ferdinand Marcos, who was ousted in the 1986 EDSA Revolution.

"That's new to me. I've never heard of Kilusang Bagong Liwanag before," Sen. Marcos said.

Asked what his reaction was to the call for him to run for president, Marcos answered, "Confused."

Baka sine-set up din ako," he said.

Marcos is often touted as a possible candidate for president or vice president in the 2016 polls.

He does not want to confirm anything, however, only saying he will remain in politics in 2016.

"In 2016, I'll be candidate. What for? Tingnan natin. I'm not leaving politics in 2016," Marcos said.

"I intend to be involved in the elections of 2016 as a candidate for something."

Binay pa rin ako.  hopefully, walang mangyaring demolition job prior to the start of the heat of campaign for 2016.  but i think something big will happen that will rock the boat of our current VP, which will eventually make him less ahhh, Presidentiable.

wala bang ibang option.

Gibo AYOS, Gordon I'LL THINK ABOUT IT, Binay MEDYO PWEDE PA.  however, what we are having now are a bit speculations and almost all the major players are waiting for what will happen next.  and parang isang teleserye, im sure may nagsusulat na ng NEXT TWIST sa PLOT ng political arena ng Pinas.  abang-abang na lang tayo sa susunod na kabanata.

its too early for him to aim for presidency (like what he say may possibility na may mga nagbabalak na i-set up sya either yung mga communist or yung mga trapong politiko na nagbabalatkayo) for 2016 he should just stick being a senator hindi pa oras para mag-take si bongbong ng higher post masyadong madami paring mga emotional na pinoy...

ok rin naman si vp binay for president sa 2016 kesa naman kina bong revilla, roxas at cayetano, if possible much better kung sila gordon/hagedorn/marcos/lacson/defensor-santiago/binay at duterte ang magkakasama sa isang partido

this is the definition of troll.

There has been confusion recently in the 2007 election campaign within the party. This confusion stems from the recent endorsement (allegedly by the KBL) of Marcos loyalist lawyer Oliver Lozano to dubious senatorial candidate Joselito Pepito "Peter" Cayetano, who has the namesake of Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano, an opposition stalwart. Rep. Cayetano said that Gov. Bongbong Marcos, who is the president of the KBL, has certified that Joselito Cayetano has no party affiliation whatsoever with the KBL and that no endorsement was called for his namesake's candidacy. More recently, Marcos has denounced loyalist lawyer and senatorial candidate Oliver Lozano along with his candidates for turning the KBL into an "embarrassment".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Lozano#Dispute_over_the_KBL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Lozano#Dispute_over_the_KBL)

malamang set up lang yan, jan magaling si lozano eh.

point taken sir. but with your statement "ang mabuti simulan muna natin sa ating mga sarili," rather than detaining someone as a disciplinary measure, it nullifies the use of martial law. thus the reason why you can't just dissociate martial law with "kulong agad" (if you can get my drift.)

okay move on move on

Cory -kamag-anak Inc
Ramos - expo scam pea-amari, generals
estrada- Jeuteng
Gloria - Family First, Hello Garci, ex general appointees
Ninoy - Kabarilan, kaklase, kapartido

But isn't that one of the things for which Filipinos are criticized -- their tendency to forget the lessons of history and "move on move on" because "past is past"?

Or maybe--just maybe, mind you--a lot of Filipinos understood the matter better than he thought they did, hence their opposition to the plant.

Wasn't that a valid concern on their part, especially since there were certain conditions regarding the location of the plant that appear to have been overlooked?

it will not sir.. it was carefully studied to prevent any radiation or radioactive bla blah blah..if i remember it correctly  there has been a recent study by KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) where it is found out that the Bataan plant is safe and economically viable to recommission... BNPP was nearly complete by 1984. two years after they depose marcos and cory returned meralco to the lopez family without returning the money that the government paid to them, and what happen next sir??? aun taas ng kuryente.. hahaha " sabi nga ng kapitbahay naming intsik.. hirap may kakompetensya, kasi konti kita hehehe"

If I'm not mistaken, KEPCO has a vested interest in seeing the plant reactivated since there's a likelihood that they will be the ones running it. I'm of the opinion that the money that will be spent reopening the plant should go to utilizing more viable and--more importantly--more sustainable energy sources. After all, isn't Gov. Imee Marcos--Sen. Bongbong Marcos' own sister--proud of the environmentally friendly wind turbines that operate in their home province of Ilocos Norte?

Wind turbines is for ilocos only..  Unless the yellows and the reds will all die together with their heroes who are now tormented in hell maybe someday we can have wind turbines,  solar turbines,  meteor energy turbines,  nuclear,  turbines,  storm turbines,   ::

Surely you aren't saying that the pro-Marcos factions are also hampering the progress of the nation? But they're supposed to be the alternative to the "yellow oligarchs", aren't they? Why wouldn't the Marcos children want the entire country to have renewable sources of energy? It would be a greater legacy than any their father ever left!

I should say as of now the wind turbines is for ilocos only because Pnoy was asked before if they can adapt wind turbines for alternative source of energy and guess what's his answer..

back to topic

3. and many calamities

and kung hindi bubuksan yan gumagastos tayo ng 30 million pesos per year just for the maintenance of it so within 20 years the goverment wasted 600 million pesos sa isang di gumaganang power plant

sasabihin chernobyl

The potential hazard that an electrical line poses is not comparable to the potential hazard of a nuclear power plant.  A nuclear power plant does not only possess the potential hazard to kill but also contaminate the surrounding environment for years/decades.

I agree that the maintenance cost for the plant is high, but it is easy to say we should just open the plant when we do not live anywhere near it.

The most important part?  We can't even properly maintain a Metro Rail Transit system and you have the confidence that we can properly maintain an operational nuclear power plant ?

yes you can it is still in pristine condition nga kaso lang aging na or luma na ang mga gamit

defintion of pristine
not changed by people : left in its natural state (merian-Webster)

Sige simple question without any thesis or baby thesis..

Do you think FRESH, CLEAN, as if NEW, Neat, pa siya sa lagay na yan? sa dami ng depektibong gamit sa loob.

I can consider a pristine word in an environment, for example maybe this is what you are referring to. An old Forest that was preserved in a natural state, a forest that even old can bloom by its own natural state. Unlike an old power plant it is degrading as time passes by even if it is unused.

Ok maybe we don't have the same interpretation of this word in relation to this old power plant. I Want to see your candidate Bongbongol to run for President.

Pardon me since I'm not as intelligent as you seemingly are, M'sieur Idiot, but if--just if, mind you--there are people undertaking maintenance on the plant's equipment...then aren't they actually changing the equipment in some way? Wouldn't it seem pointless if they're assigned to perform maintenance duty and they just let the equipment succumb to the effects of aging?
