HELP* (dvd burning) RW DVD+R DL 2.4x

guyz.. may binili po kasi akong dvd CD sa CDr-king.. ung 8GB ung size, kaso pag nilagay ko sa dvd rom tapos pagtinitignan ko ung "properties" nya "0 kb" ung nklagay.. tapos ngtry ako mag burn doon ng files di xa magburn.. may nakalagy nmn na "RW" na logo sa dvd-rom ko so ibg sabihin pwede xang magbasa ng ganung dvd.. nero 7 ung ginagamit ko para mag burn.. anu kaya problema d2?? thnx po..

nakakapag burn po ako ng cd dati pa.. ung mga mp3 files, ngaun gusto ko sana itry ung mag burn ng movie sa dvd..

8gb dvd's are dual layer discs. refer to the manual of your dvd-ram drive for compatibility in these discs. RW means it can read and write data to discs but it doesnt mean all discs are compatible.

ok po salamat sa replies.. pero ung dvd rom po ng laptop ko may logo xa ng "RW" so nag assumed ako na nakakaread xa ng gnung type ng disc..

dapat may nakalagay na DL sa dvd-rom mo, meaning dual layer para compatible sya

or mali ang setting ng software mo. first time ko mag try magburn sa DL Disc ganyan din, di na burn.

2 po ung ganun kong  disc, pareho po silang hindi maread.. so baka po sa software ung problema kaso di ako alam kung paano hehe..

burn without multi session. tapos bago ka magburn, tingnan mo kung nadedetect sya as DL Disc or 8+GB na disc. pag hindi, set mo nero mo na DL Disc ang gamit.

ano ang brand ng DVD writer mo? some brands sadyang mapili talaga ng mga discs. hindi lahat mababasa niya

ako i usually burn it as an iso first. then i use imageburn to burn the dual layer. i choose sa setting kung anong partition for the next layer yung best.

I notice kasi kung nero ang gamit for burn using dual layer sira ang files pero sa imageburn ganda ang labas. sa nero parang naka lagay lang sa isang area ang na burn niya. parang lahat nasa first half nang disc. ito din gamit ko to burn xbox games (pero may specific partition for xbox).

bale po ang first layer .iso files?

tapos ung ibang files sa 2nd layer??

try mo muna magpalit ng ibang version ng nero may bugs kasing kasama yung nero 7 lalo na kapag XP yung OS.

ibig sabihin instead of burning it directly to disc. he makes a virtual copy of the disc in iso format. tsaka niya e-burn to the dvd.

mas mainam dahil puwede mong emount muna ang iso to check if okay. tsaka e burn to dvd.

regarding sa layers.
yung dvd9 consist of two layers. kung maliit ang files walang problem kahit walang layer break. kung malaki what i notice is that minsan may problem. minsan parang ang na burn naka kumpol lang sa isang area. but if i use imageburn tapos may layer break. ayos na ayos. i dont know sa iba pero ito ang experience ko.

Makikisingit lang kahit wala akong DVD DL writer.

@TS yun bang binili mong disk is same lang yung label na nakikita mo sa writer mo?

Meron kasing disk na DVD-R at meron DVD+R (di ko nabasa kung anong type yung disk mo)

Baka lang kasi DVD-R yung nabili kaya hindi mabasa ng DVD+R na reader mo. Usually kasi pag bumibili ako ng drive ko binili ko yung DVD+/-R para kahit anong disk ang mabili at isalpak kaya nyang basahin.

pa singit nadin. meron akong ASUS DRW-2014S1T na writer. + - naman sabi ng box at manual. pero hirap siyang magread ng ibang cd/dvd. hirap mag burn T_T wala daw disc na nka lagay haii.. help naman po

nagtry ka na ng ibang discs? try mo muna maglagay ng  disc na may laman.

mga CDs/DVD's na may laman umaandar. Mga blank ang arte. Pagmay naread siyang blank, POWER CALIBRATION error naman pagnagburn T_T

i have problem burning using cd-r king generic dual layer dvd. ayaw e-burn ang manipis na dual layer but the thick dual layer i dont have problem burning. also i dont use nero to burn dvd movies i suggest you use convert x to dvd. mas mainam. magaan pa sa resources.
