With Star Wars: The Clone Wars marching to its inevitable conclusion this year on the Cartoon Network, Disney is unveiling their own animated series which they expect to draw in Star Wars fans of every vintage.
Set between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope (therefore falling in chronologically with Clone Wars) Star Wars Rebels is about an unlikely group of individuals brought together by fate and chosen by destiny (or the Force) to become heroes to a galaxy in the grip of the Empire's reign of terror.

Star Wars Rebels is slated for a Fall premiere on the Disney Channel. Regular airing will be on Disney XD.
