Here are some hints to help you more efficently use rapidshare. Skipping waiting time and bypassing download limits are rapidshare tricks that everybody should know:

1. Short-Out the JavaScript:

1. Goto the page you want to download
2. Select FREE button
3. In the address bar put the following: javascript:alert(c=0)
4. Click OK
5. Click OK to the pop-up box
6. Enter the captcha
7. Download Your File

2. Use a proxy with SwitchProxy and Firefox:

1. Download and install Firefox if you have not already
2. Download and install SwitchProxy : http://mozmonkey.com/switchproxy/
3. Google for free proxies: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-42,GGLD:en&q=proxy+lists

4. When you hit your download limit, clean your cookies and change your proxy

This is how I get what I want from RapidShare without having to wait the 60+ minutes between downloads.:

Install MAC cloaning app (search Google from appz) Different appz have different procedures, read the help file to figure out what you are doing. I use SMAC, it is pretty simple. Then follow these instructions:
1. Download file from RapidShare.

2. Change MAC address (donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t change until the current file is finished downloadling)

3. Restart Modem, ISP will issue a new IP for new MAC address. Takes less then 15 seconds.

4. Download another file from RapidShare

I know these methods are not the greatest, but I have not found anything else that works as painless as these.

well, you can just try one of the tips if that is the case, may 4 ka na options to follow bro..

mali nga yan.. ang gusto niya sabihin dun sa number 3, habang nagbibilang yung rapidshare ng ilang segundo bago ka makapag-dl, palitan mo yung nandun sa address bar ng "javascript:alert(c=0)", without quotes a..

pagka-enter mo, may magpo-pop up na message box, i-click mo yung OK button tapos wala na yung countdown. DL ka na agad!

gumagana po yung first step,,gulat nga ako eh,, click free download,, tapos pag lumabas yung time remaining type nyo to sa browser javascript o tapos enter then may lalabas click ok,then yun lalabas na yung click here to download..

sir leigh, after na lumabas yung page na "The download cannot be provided. Please check, if your browser supports Javascript." click mo lang po ulit yung address bar and press enter. it will be automatically downloaded by your DM or the Built-in DL of your browser.

it happens when you are still downloading a specific file...

Pwede rin na you have reached the limit of being a free user......boss try mo Use a proxy with SwitchProxy and Firefox:(no. 2 guidelines)

ganito ginagawa ko...punta sa RS site na pagda download -an tapos kapag nag count down na, enter ko yung javascript:alert(c=0)

pero kapag click ko na yung DL button, sasabihin nya na your browser does'nt support javescript kaya hindi ko rin na d DL yung file, im using the current updated version ng FireFox

help ?

di mo na kailangan yan just disconnect from the internet or reset your modem viola bypass na agad rapidshare... certified pc tech here!

yup...yan nga ginawa ko...pero eto lumalabas after kong i-click yung DL button..

router/modem reset ay gagana lang para sa mga nka-dynamic IP. Pag static ka, it won't work.
