Efren Peñaflorida gives Filipino youth an alternative to gang membership through education. His Dynamic Teen Company's 10,000 members have taught basic reading and writing to 1,500 kids living in the slums.

$100,000 eto para sa winner  Kapag nanalo si  Efren (based on how many votes he gets, which will depend on us), he will be able to expand his mobile school program for the children of the slums in the Philippines .  What this young man is doing to improve the lives of the kids in the slums is truly inspiring.

nakaka inspire naman ito, imagine makita ng dayuhan ang ilan sa mga kababayan natin na meron ginagawang effort para sa iba...

at least, hindi kayang tabunan ng kakurakutan ni GMA ang iilan pa rin sa mga magagandang adhikain ng ating mga kababayan....   toast:: toast:: toast::

hay, huli na ata. ayaw ng gumana nung link. Nakita ko na siya dati sa isang brochure, may foundat sila, ksama dito si Lea Salonga, layunin nito na pagaralin ang mga di kayang mag aral dahil sa kawalan ng pera. Nung kabataan niya isa siya sa mga pinag-aral kaya sabi niya dun gusto rin niyang ipamahagi ang kanyang pinagaralan sa iba. . he he
