i am very happy and satisfied kasi i have experienced a life during Marcos' era and it was so good.....and too bad di ito naexperience ng younger generation...to hell do i care with what others say against him.....Marcos Marcos Marcos pa din!!!!

inabutan ko rin yung Marcos era. true mukhang masaya noong time na yun. naalala ko rin yung Kadiwa. yun nga lang dekada 80 na yung naranasan ko.

iba pa rin siguro yung naranasan ng mga magulang or iba nating kababayan during the 70's kaya ganon na lang siguro ang pag-ayaw nila sa Marcos'

Well, if I have to follow your logic, Fr. Sonny is a liar and so is Mr. Santiago.  However, I don't think so.  But what you have written is your opinion and you are entitled to whatever you want to say.

You can not compare apples and oranges so there is no point comparing Mr. Andy with those who succeeded him.  The "greatness" of a person is not made on the basis of what he or she may have constructed.  It may also be made on the basis of the person's impact on the people and psyche of a nation.  Rizal never constructed any bridge or road.

With due respect to your goodselves, your use of the term "beat" needs to be qualified.  If we are to talk about level of IQ, maybe, Mr. Ferdinand is Mensa material.  But if he is that good, bakit hindi nya na control ang mga Romualdez during those years?  Bakit hindi sya nag tayo ng sariling bangko sa Pinas para sana hindi nya na kailangan ilagak ang mga assets at salapi sa mga bangko sa ibang bayan at hayaan ang mga bangkong ito na kumita ng napakaraming taon?  Why does he have to declare himself dead when he could have use all those resources to shape the world openly given the vast amount of resources at his disposal?

Anyway, as I have written, let History judge them and give its verdict when all emotions and passions may have died down.
