wala na talaga ako masay sa Pilipinas kundi WOW, based on the constitution GMA does have the power to do what she did but this just makes the fact that "If you have power, money and connections you can get away with anything in the Philippines" more apparent now than ever

Justice delayed is justice denied... how about justice delayed, delivered and desecrated!

kung ganito lang din pala mangyayari why pa found guilty si Erap, it would have saved more time and money to find him not guilty at an earlier point rather finding him guilty them letting him go scott free

GMA magic act to divert national attention from her administration

1) cause confusion by making a cloud of smoke in Glorietta
2) make a white dove appear by pardoning Erap free
3) SANA UNG 3rd PART KUMAIN SYA NG ESPADA O APOY TAPOS MABILAUKAN hehehe

heres another reason i forgot more parts of Bayang Magiliw or Lupang Hinirang or whatever the title of that song is

nagsayang lang ng pera sa trial dun din pla ppnta! kawawa nman ung pingpaguran ng mga prosecutors! another strategy to save the position of GMA! pero my  maganda rin siguro mgyayari na mgreconsilation na ang oposition at admnitrtion! pde rin mgyari un ng makausad na!

exactly... ;D malaki ang nagastos sa kaban ng bayan sa paglilitis kay erap yun pla nabale wla lang timing tlaga nila na gawin yung pardon sa panahon na maiinit pa yung issue sa pamumod mod ng pera ng gobyerno  para ano malihis ang issue? tsk tsk

nagsayang lang nga ng pera ang gobyerno. ang bilis naman i pardon. dapat makulong muna ng ilang taon. yung 6 years na house arrest, dapat di yn i consider kc bahay niya yun hehe

Gusto ko lang ilagay dito yung provision ng 1987 constitution regarding sa pardoning power of the president.

Article VII. Section 19. Except in cases of impeachment, or as otherwise provided in this Constitution, the President may grant reprieves, commutations, and pardons, and remit fines and forfeitures, after conviction by final judgment.

He shall also have the power to grant amnesty with the concurrence of a majority of all the Members of the Congress.


Di ba mali ang pagbibigay ng pardon dahil ang kaso ni Erap ay isang impeachment case? so according sa contitution natin, disqualified na sya for pardon. Tama po ba ako? Mga ka-spy na abogado dyan tama po ba interpretation ko?

I think he wasn't found guilty through impeachment. His ouster was not because the impeachment proceedings found him guilty, his ouster was because of of EDSA 2. Sa korte siya napatunayang may sala, hindi sa impeachment proceedings. So technically, puwede talaga siyang bigyan ng pardon.

In my opinion, GMA is trying to gain allies with this move para in case siya (or her husband) yung napatunayang may kasalanan in the future, she'll get the same treatment. Naghahanda na siguro siya. Who knows? Maybe she has a crystal ball and she sees a bad future for her and her husband.

I'm just disgusted with everything RP politics.

Malapit na rin pa la barangay elections. Sa kahit na anong eleksyon, it is always between a douche and a turd. Pipiliin na lang kung alin ang mas less evil. Tapos sasabihin ng ibang tao that you have to exercise your voting rights - which is of course a lot of BS most of the time.

Yung iba namang tao na gusto kang bumoto dahil right mo daw, yung gusto lang nung mga iyun is for you to vote for their candidate - which is just disgusting.

Ayoko nang pag usapan tong mga bagay na 'to kasi iinit lang ulo ko. Never-ending topic to pag ako. Yung mga kurakot: they're making a mockery of our justice system.

Mr Estrada was a mayor before he was elected senator. Then he ran for Vice President, he won. After his term, he ran and won the presidential race. Don't compare Mr. Estrada to Manny Pacquioa.

Manny Pacquioa ran for a seat that requires more than charisma.

ERAP ran as a mayor in San Juan to which we all know drugs are controlled by the Ejercito clan, they gave out free shabu to the majority of the poor for votes, Erap won as as senator because of a popularity vote, not charisma, poor/uneducated voters DO NOT KNOW that they can vote only the ones they want and not fill out the entire ticket and lets face it Erap is known as a movies star since the days of black and white, and since the poor voters knew who he was the one most of them actually knows, this also applied in his victories as VP and eventually president

nanalo si erap dahil sa popular sya at nakikita sa tv right?

yun din ang reason kaya tumakbo si pacquiao, dahil sa akala nya mananalo sya dahil sa popular na sya sa mga masa... plus dahil nauto sya ng mga ibang politicians
 
 kung hindi tayo boboto sa taong sa tingin natin ay makakapagpabago ng country natin, eh di mas lalo nating pinanalo ang sinasabi nyong mga "evil" na kumakandidato...

i guess 123kid was one of those people that got the free shabus in return for their votes... is that why you're backing up estrada? good for you then...
