It’s erroneous to speak of these as lost gospels. They were not lost; they were rejected by the church around the time they were originally written.

The bible as we know today is a product of discussion and collegial decisions based on philosophical assertions made by biblical scholars at that time...during this intercourse (for the lack of better word to use) it was and is believed that the discussions were in the midst of the Holy Spirit....they needed to have a cohesive theology so that future pronouncement of faith should first withstand biblical scrutiny....it will be absurd to include gospels written by other authors that shows the child Jesus vengeful when He preaches eternal mercy....

And besides...

Jesus is never recorded in the Bible as saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason. “… you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity. Notice that Jesus does not deny His claim to be God. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30), He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence.

Mga ilang years after namatay si Kristo, nagkaroon ng 'Great Prosecution' against christians. As a result, nagkalat-kalat sila, karamihan e palihim lang kung magkita.

So, tama ba o mali yung sinasabi ng 'lost gospels'?

Filipos 5:6...

Can you explain:

John 1:1-10
English Standard Version (ESV)
The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.

Philippians 2:6-12

English Standard Version (ESV)
6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,[a] being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Patunayan rin ninyo that you exist since the beginning of Christianity 1st, 2nd, 3rd century until now...hindi yung may susulpot tapos gagamitin ang Bibliya para isulong ang motibo niya...pweh!   :P

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

- "And the Word (Jesus) was with God", so dito  walang sinasabi na Diyos si Jesus, instead sinabi lang na kasama sya ng Diyos.

- "And the Word (Jesus) was God", eto dito ngayon binanggit na Diyos si Jesus.

John 1:2 -  He was in the beginning with God.
- Parang yung una lang 'to.

"30 So the angel said to her: “Have no fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God; 31 and, look! you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus. 32 This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High;"

Punta tayo sa John 10:30 - I and the Father are one.
Pano nyo ngayon ipapaliwanang yung sinasabi sa Hebrews 10:12 "But this [man] offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually and sat down at the right hand of God." Binanggit dyan na si Jesus (this man offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually) ay umupo sa kanan ng Diyos. Ibig sabihin dalawang persona yan.

Why jesus christ can't be GOD?

http://torch-of-salvation.blogspot.com/2011/06/why-jesus-christ-cant-be-god.html  <--- read here....

The truth that cannot be denied

By biblical standard, it would be heretical to believe that Christ is God. However, our denial of his alleged deity does not in any way tarnish our faith in his lofty position that God himself have bestowed on him (Matt. 28:18; 11:27). It should not be misconstrued that by denying the alleged divinity of Jesus Christ, it would tantamount to degrading him. On the contrary, the Iglesia Ni Cristo highly regards our Lord Jesus Christ based on the lucid biblical teachings about his attributes and qualities: He is the Son of God (Matt. 3:17),our Lord (Acts 2:36) and our Savior (Acts 5:31). He is our only Mediator to God (I Tim. 2:5) and the only way to the Father (John 14:5). We worship him since it is God’s will that all should worship him (Phil. 2:9-11) and we believe that he is the head of the Church (Eph. 1:22) because God placed all things under his feet (Eph. 1:22).

Never did he nor his apostles introduce him as God!  NOW READ THESE:

I Tim. 2:5  “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and Men, the Man Christ Jesus"

The Bible tells us that Jesus is a Man mediating between God and Men!   And Jesus proclaimed who is the ONLY TRUE GOD:

John 17:1-3 “After Jesus finished saying this, he looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you. For you gave him authority over all people, so that he might give eternal life to all those you gave him.  AND ETERNAL LIFE MEANS TO KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and to know Jesus Christ, whom you sent.  [GNB]

This was the scene when Jesus prayed to God, he said  “TO KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD” Which refers to the FATHER.  He didn't say: “TO KNOW YOU AND ME AS THE ONLY TRUE GOD” or  “TO KNOW ME, THE ONLY TRUE GOD”. Clearly there is no verse in the whole Bible that says Jesus is another God.

And what should be our recognition of Jesus?  As he said:  “TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST, WHOM YOU SENT”, meaning we should recognize him not as God but as the one sent by God - as a messenger of God:

John 17:21 “I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, SO THAT THE WORLD WILL BELIEVE THAT YOU SENT ME.” [GNB]

The undeniable truth,  THE FATHER IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND NO ONE ELSE….
