Women's party-list group "Isa-Ako Babaeng Astig Aasenso" or 1-ABAA plans to propose in Congress a measure requiring couples to renew their marriage after 10 years, or else their marriage would be null and void.


hmm, agree ako dito para pag di na sila enjoy sa isat isa after 10 years, hiwalayan na.

somehow, agreee ako dito eh...
1) personally, may philosophy ako na "walang maghihiwalay na couple kung walang may gusto isa man sa kanila"
with this, masusubok kung meron nga talagang may gusto ng hiwalayan...
maaring mag-reflect sila, mag-reminisce, magnilay-nilay ng kanilang pagsasama...
Either PARA AYUSIN, o PARA IPANGSUMBAT.

2) Romantic ang pagpapa-renew ng marriage contract...
Another time to make a vows nanaman to each other, pwedeng magpakasal uli sila, magbigayan ng bagong ring etc...

and downside lang na nakikita ko dito:

1) ONCE nag-decide sila na wag na i-renew ang kontrata, whether they like it or not, DAMAY ANG MGA ANAK nila...
NOT UNLESS siyempre kung may mga asawa na din yung mga anak nila.
eh paano kung menor de edad?

2) may posibilidad na lumobo ang populasyon. tapos balik sa problem #1...

Hindi siguro talaga nila mapush ang legalization ng divorce kaya they resorted sa isang proposal na parang bribe ang dating. Kung kailangan nga naman magparenew ng mga tao after 10 years malamang may kikitain din ang gobyerno kahit papaano.

In any case, sa tingin ko kailangan ng sobrang tinding pag-iisip bago nagpapakasal. Yung hindi bugso lang ng damdamin ba. And if ever you do get married kailangan mo naman icommit ang buhay mo to making the marriage work lalo pa when things get rough. Ang mga problema napag-uusapan naman e, ang mga ugali nababago. Bukod sa psychologically incapable, violent, at psychotic wala akong naiisip na dahilan para dapat iconsider ng mga mag-asawa na maghiwalay. In the first place kaya nga nag-asawa para di na maghiwalay e. Ano mangyayari pag after 10 years naisipan na lang ng mga tao na ayaw nila magrenew dahil may mga problema at di na sila happy? E di parang swap swap na lang ang mga tao ng asawa na para bang cellphone??

Mas pabor ang mga kababaihan sa Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso ng divorce kaysa sa panu kala ng isang bagong party-list group na magkaroon expiration ng kasal ng mag-asawa.

Ayon kay Gabriela partylist Rep. Liza Maza, hindi makakalusot ang 10-year limit ng kasal dahil hindi umano ito sagot sa problema ng mga kababaihan lalo na ang mga battered wife.

Naniniwala si Maza na kapag nagtagumpay ang 10-year expiration date ng kasal, tiyak na maraming kababaihan ang gustong kumalas sa kanyang asawa dahil hindi na matagumpay ang kanilang pagsasama, ang magdududa ng matagal.

“This 10-year expiration date could also mean prolonging the agony of battered women,” pahayag ng mambabatas na siyang may-akda sa House Bill 4016 o Divorce Bill.

“The sanctity of marriage is not based on the number of marriages existing but on the quality of marital relationships.

When a marriage is no longer viable, divorce should be an option,” dagdag pa ni Maza.

Sa panig naman ni Buhay Partylist Rep. Irwin Tieng, lalong maraming pamilya ang masisira kapag inayunan ng Kongreso na magkaroon ng expiration ang kasal ng mag-asawa.

Kaagad namang binara ni Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Pimentel Jr., ang nasabing panukala ng isang partylist group.

Hindi ba cardinal si Cardinal Sin?  ::lmao la lang... yun lang kasi ang alam kong kardinal ng pinas. naging kardinal ba yun?

anyhoo, langya gagawa pa ng batas na 10 year marriage expiry date chenes... e sa diborsyo lang solb na kagad ang problema ng dalawang magasawa...

mas maganda nga yung kung hindi talaga sila nagkakaunawaang magasawa e hiwalay na kagad kaysa maghintay pa ng sampung taon para tiisin yung relasyon nilang wala naman ding patutunguhan.

hindi ako pabor...ano yan CISCO Certification? o drivers license?..ganun na ba tingin nila sa kasal? after mong pag-isipang mabuti at paghandaaan nang bongangbonga ang kasal....think of women who dream of their wedding day, tapos 10 yrs invalid na....kung talagang nagkamali nung nagpakasal, eh hiwalay ang sulosyun doon, after siguro reconcilation...
