Following the
CBCP's call for people to dress up as saints this Halloween rather than as ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and other creatures that go bump in the night, the head of the
Federation of Associations of Private Schools and Administrators (
Fapsa) asked private schools not to hold Halloween parties with the usual supernatural or horror themes.
Eleazardo Kasilag, president of Fapsa, said that such celebrations are just
"glorifying the devils" instead of respectfully remembering the departed.
