its wat i really recommend sa ibng tao na nagtatanong sakin...though, malaki makukuha ko for labor, mas ok na kng alam ng owner ang iniinstall nya, n para mafamiliarize sha sa kotche nya....
try it, u can consult naman sa ibng mechanico na nagspecialize sa audio, or u cud even talk to the mechanic, na sa labas ng shop nya install ang parts, kahit sa bahay mo, n tumulong ka...
coz to be honest, andami kong nakakausap or nakikipag kilala sa mga tambayan, or minsan gas station, na pag pinasilit makina or kotche nila, malupet, pro ala naman silang alam kng ano ba ang use ng certain part na naka install....

sa tanong mo bout the muffler, actually, there's a misconception bout sa muffler, ang role talaga nito is to reduce the sound emitted ny the engine, its also known as a silencer....though, napapalitan din sha for racing purposes, thus nawawala naren ang role nya as a muffler...
yes, esp. parts made by apexi, 5zigen, hks, etc, they dont actually add horsepower to your car, but it lessens the backpressure of the exhaust gas...
hehe, medyo complicated, but it really doesnt mean na the louder your exhaust it, malakas ang kotche mo...ung iba kc, kinakabitan lng ng malaking pipe ang dulo para umingay, pero it doesnt improve the performance....
tip lng, if u want to imrove the performance of ur car, start with the basics....air filter, headers, and exhaust....
sa exhaust, i prefer to change the whole piping, but pwede ring kahit ung exhaust muna, pro magastos sha men...
gamet ko sa isang kotche ko is hks super dragger dr tip cat bak system, but it cost me 35k...
but some of my friends recommend nodalo's naren, though i havnt tried it...n they sponsor cars ren sa philippine touring car...
