It is AR15. Very well known in Pinas as Armalite. However, Armalite is a brand name closed early 80's. There were a lot of AR15 or M4. Colt, Bushmaster, DPS, Vultor etc. Bushmaster did not passed in US military. I forgot Philippines has also our owned Elisco, underlicensed of Colt.

My friend Jtabs and his M4's rvolution:

Started with a basic flat top with an Aimpoint ML3 scope..


Then added a Harris bipod..


Installed a 12.0 DD rail with an all black set up...


Changed my mind the following day into a black and FDE set up..and replacing the upper to a VLTOR..


Replaced the ML3 with a Nightforce after an unforgetable shooting experience with some friends..


Finally, Lilja 16" match barrel, JP compensator (thanks to bro nac for the idea), PRI charging handle, replaced my Bush stamped lower with an original Colt and a sweet trigger job by Tony O to a more or less 1.8 lbs trigger pull using a double star 2 stage match trigger...now ready to rock and roll...haaay... sa wakas! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: by the way,thanks to the LRA guys for the accomodation and assistance..


Personally, i was amazed by his M4. But i don't have enough logistic to build this kind of Submachine gun. unlike my friend Jtabs, in addition i am more in pistol.

ang gagara ng mga bengbeng ah!  ang aastig!  however, my trusty 556 suffices since i just bring "her" when i am on travel.  :)  baklas tapos stuffed sa trunk inside a bag.  will just go for it after gaining some distance and advantage with which my pistol will definitely give me since she is always within reach.  :)

but when "logistics" will provide, id like a similar setup for leisure-purposes.  :)

sagutin ko na para kay materniko at mukhang nalalasing na sa sabayang birthday ng mga masters natin sa espiya.  same lng ang connections ng m4 sa m16.  actually m16 (the one that is issued sa infantry natin) ang base guns for most converted to baby and enfant.  meron na nga ring lumabas now na fetus di ba?  but cutting barrel entail that you lose some propolsion and precision since the barrel's twist rate is designed for the original length.  actually my colt hpr is originally an m16, cut for carry convenience as well as manueverability. i accept the reduced range and just want the rapid firepower and added number of rounds per magazine.

in dream world, we can all live with ego, and guns in our side to bloat that ego.  however, in real life, there are those, given the nature of their work, etc, that need to arm themselves, since they can't just wait for the police to protect them. 

i have walked away from numerous fights because i dont see the need to get into them.  and because i dont have such a big ego.  i have also gotten into some, but only after removing my weapon in my person, that is after ensuring that the other party aint armed.  i have also used my gun to protect myself, but as they always say - last resort.  for our ego?  if that would be the case, then id always have my guns shiny and sporting the latest enhancements.  however, since that aint the case - mine is dressed with scratches from daily carry.  ego?  since i dont have a very huge ego, i should have always left my gun as much as possible to satisfy your theory.  but since i am not into the ego thing - and am doing so for security among other things - a few souls get to spend another day in this planet since i got to carry my piece with me when i most need it.
