Patriotism bang matatawag yung pag criticize sa opisyal ng gobyerno na may halong pang iinsulto? kahit sino pang tao yan, kriminal man o Santo that man deserves respect, hindi ka rin perpekto kaya wala kang karapatan mang insulto ng kahit na sino,  mas nag sympathize pa ako sa mga kritiko na maayos pinahahayag ang kanilang komento at saloobin makikita mo na dismayado sila pero hindi mo kakikitaan ng galit o pang iinsulto dahil walang halong pamumuitika o iba pang motibo, magkaiba po ang kritisismo sa paninira.

I wonder though how many more members here have not voted yet. I agree with those sentiments that they have the right to complain as a tax paying citizen but the most effective way to complain is through your votes. It may sound cliche and you might think that your vote may not matter but if you think that way then certainly there are others who think that way too, imagine if all of you voted.

Be that as it may, I find nothing noteworthy that the Student Council has done in the last three years.  If ever there has been an increase in the Fitch or Standard & Poor rating, it comes because of the yearly remittance of about USD40B from the OFWs and the BPO industry.  Yet, it is pathetic that despite their contribution, those OFWs do not get AAA class attention and care from the various consulates and embassies.

As of this writing, there is even a growing resentment within the PNP ranks against the Student Council, particularly against Senyor Kho Reena.  Mr. Purisima continues to be treated shabilly. In fact, there seems to be Martial Law within the offices of the PNP itself that personnel can not even exercise their right to free speech when that right is a sacred right and the fundamental right in our Constitution. Surely, those conditions will be denied officially but the resentment and hatred is slowly building up that we may wake up one day that the dam can no longer hold the rampaging waters.

Yup, uso kasi sa pinas ang block voting. At tingin ko marami pa din ang mga mahihirap or below sa middle class na wala masyadong alam sa mga kandidatong natakbo/nangangampanya, or worst nabibili pa yung kanilang boto. Kaya yung ibang gov. official gusto sa mas malalawak na squatter's area kasi isa yun sa malalaki ang nakukuhang boto LOL. Example nga ay itong last senatorial election, kaloka ang result.
