Make firefox faster

1.Type ?about:config? into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set ?network.http.pipelining? to ?true?

Set ?network.http.proxy.pipelining? to ?true?

Set ?network.http.pipelining.maxrequests? to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it ?nglayout.initialpaint.delay? and set its value to ?0?. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you?re using a broadband connection you?ll load pages MUCH faster now!

i use firetune for firefox (can be downloaded from www.download.com) and a plug-in for firefox called fasterfox. works wonders for me, i just dont know if this will work with dial-ups though.

I think this is for Firefox 1.0..
Reminder sa Firefox..
May mga update sila ngaun na hindi nila sinasabi kung ano..
Nireview ko i2..
Sabi nila Security Flaws daw..
Nalabas sa ZDNET and news na ito..Kaya nag research pako ng mabuti..
Un ang natuklasan ko..I think Firefox got Rootkit din gaya ng confession ng Norton sa product nila System Work..Baka una ang tinangal nila..Tsk Tsk Tsk.

tanong ko lng sa may firefox d ba sinasave nya lhat ng webpages sa browsermo na pinupnthan mo esp. ung plagi mong pinupunthan kz may nabasa ako about sa firefox na nagkakaerror ang browser mo kpg may gamit kng firefox thru the web using  AOL,MSN,or (bayantel)(PLDT) DSL nagkakaerror like diz 1 here pakiverify naman sa mga expert dyan

Ang nakakapagtaka lng dude eh 3 browser ko ngaun..
Firefox, Opera at yung IE..
Ala lumalabas na ganyan..
At kung babasahin nyo maigi..Siguro naman mababasa nyo yung Dont Say We Didnt Warn you..
PArang nkakapagtaka na sabihin ng Microsoft yan sa Current User eh hindi naman sila ang may ari ng Computer at hindi pede magcrush ang computer mo dahil lang sa Web Browser?..
Siguro tactic nalang ng mga ibang web browser yan dude para gamitin  mo yung Browser nila..

i really dont know if firefox saves them (i guess so), but firefox has a built in history,cookies, cache, etc. cleaner. i use this feature all the time. and ive been using firefox now for as long as i can remember and i never encountered such error before.

Ang gamit ko..

FasterFox - This extension automatically employs link prefetching, network tweaking, enhanced pop-up blocking, along with simultaneous connections, pipe-lining, enhanced caching, DNS caching, and initial paint delaying to make FireFox so fast it can break servers..LOL!

Adblock - Remove inline ads.

Download Them All - FOr downloading..Just like Internet Download manager but for firefox itself..

Punta ka nalng sa FIre-Fox Add-on nila baka may magustuhan kapa.. :)

boss mark, how to edit ba?
when i right click kc, ito lang lumalabas
sa "network.http.pipelining" >>>> copy name, copy value, new (string, integer, boolean), toogle.

sa "network.http.proxy.pipelining" same lang din sa taas?
tanong ko kay boss mark, pano ba ma edit yan? :-/

pano ba ma preserved yong book mark mo? or ma save yong bookmark mo? para nman pag mag reformat ng HD. i lagay nlang nang dritso.... dami na kc, bookmark ko eh.. hehehehe....

Bro download ka na lang ng "FasterFox" para mas safe at wala ka pang kailangang e-edit at same result pa.... Punta ka doon sa extension page nila at download mo yon.... ;D
