Yep, Japan only.. and PSP was strongest only in Japan and still it could not topple the DS. It never performed well in the US or other territories. You'd think the NesVITA would be different? Upgraded Graphics and same games you could play on a console?
2nd Week after launch and that dismal sales? A 70% drop for what Sony has claimed the BEST HANDHELD EVER CREATED. Not even a single software on the top 20? You'd think 3rd party developers would want that after supporting it with more than 20 Launch software?
Goodluck NesVITA.. Even in it's Stronghold ( JAPAN ) , it was not even able to sold out Sony's initial shipment of 500,000 units like what they have predicted.

BTW.. Just got my PS NesVITA today in the mail from my folks in Japan.. With Hot shots Golf and Uncharted! Yep it's super kiss-ass! Very Sexy piece of Equipment!
However, I don't think it's really going to win against the 3DS.. Hands Down.. There's really nothing new. It's just going to be a another deadweight and dust collector together w/ my Coleco Vision, Atari 2600, NES, Famicom, Genesis, SNES, PS1, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 1,Wii and PS3 ( Currently playing Mario Kart 7 Online ( 3DS ), Skyrim ( Xbox 360) , and Radiata Stories ( PS2 ) I guess I'm going to have some game time with my shiny new NesVITA also.
I've been collecting video games since the 80'sand never turned back. Unlike most of the members here who are predominantly "HARDCORE- HARDCORAN" I bet, most of you just got you're very first consoles or handheld during the 2000's or some might be late 90's. I've been playing video or computer games for almost 30 years now.
No Rants and Rage, just pure facts.. ;)

Why would I even post a picture of any espiya handsign just to prove anything. I've been with espiya since January of 2006 and didn't even bother posting anything just for evidence. Anyways even if you post anything here w/ evidence nobody would even believe. If you don't believe me, fine, suit you well. Baka nakalimutan ni Ts na nasa pilipinas tayo at di sa japan. Bakit natin proproblemahin ang gaming sales at statistics nila doon? As a phil gamer ano ba advantage or benefits makukuha natin pag mabenta ang 3ds mo doon? The fact is Phil gamers prefer playstations especially psp's more than any other gaming consoles being sold here in the country. Kahit saan ka lumibot dito sa pinas mas marami talaga naglalaro ng psp kumpara sa ds and I can see na ganito rin mangyayari pagdating ng vita dito sa pinas. Finally, sabi mo bumili ka ng pspvita. Isn't it stupid na bumili ka ng isang bagong gamit tapos andito ka ngayon sa mga forums para tirahin or insultuhin yung mismong gamit na binili mo?

i respect TS opinion. i care less for the figures though. much of those figures will be a part of history in years time.. and no one will remember it. but the games they have will do.
debating which is better is like debating whether naruto or bleach is better: it caters to the same criterias. but in the end, nasa panlasa parin ng reader yan. iba si tite kubo kay kishimoto; sa style, sa kwento, sa character growth etc etc.
the same is with nintendo and sony. mas ok siguro kung iki criticize mo ang sony products vs sony products din lang, dun mo talaga makikita yung improvement ng isang franchise. mas gumanda ba yung services? yung products? mas umayos ba yung gaming experience?
as for the sales? care not. halos 70% ng gamers dito sa Pilipinas torrent sa games. kaya out na ako jan. ibang figure na yan. as for the comparison though.. well there's my 2 cents on that scenario
