My laptop is dual-booting XP and Vista.
Di naman mabagal Vista.  Baka kasi kulang ka sa RAM or pangit Video Card mo kaya mabagal.
Try not to use Aero theme if your PC is not that powerful.

I am not familiar on what SMART Bro uses (DHCP, PPPoE or Static IP) but everything can be configured through Control Panel --> Netwoking.
More or less it's the same as XP.

@ethereal,

i dont know if this will help..

smart bro doestn care if youre a mac user o windows user (xp or vista doesnt depend)..as long as you know your username and password..just know the detail of your account...when you open explorer/firefox..it will promt you for the usernmae and password...thats all i know..

vista is a graphically enhanced version or windows....you need a better specs in order for it to work better...we just bought a presario v3325tu..intel core duo 1.8Ghz..with 1G ram...its all brand new..no application yet..just ms office 2007...and yet its still slow...

thats my opinion..

thanks....

I think the reason why it is slow is because of the graphics card (Intel GMA950).
Try to change the theme to Basic and do not use Aero.
I am using an HP Pavilion DV2120us (AMD Turion64 X2 1.6Ghz w/ Nvidia GF6150 UMA) and when I'm using Vista Home Premium with Aero, it isn't very slow.
Of course if you compare Vista running on Aero vs XP mas mabilis talaga XP.

You can always downgrade to XP if you like -- habang wala pang laman laptop mo.
Besides, the V3325TU was initially built for Windows XP.
