is there a program na pwedeng magconvert then burn ng mas mataas na resolution than 720 x 480 sa DVD?

may mga nakikita kasi akong mga ripped movies na ang resolution daw ay 1280 x 532. and sobra linaw, sayang naman kung i-rereduce sya into 720 pag naconvert.

ang convertxtodvd kasi hanggang 720x480 lang

Try mo gamitin brod, Total Video Converter HD v3.50 or higher if any or you can also try XILISOFT HD Converter..It can convert 720p, 1080p... if im not mistaken you dont only want to convert it to hd but you also want to burn it to dvd. the problem sa dvd its only 480, if im not mistaken. so its either you watch it in your pc, or convert it to hd format that is supported by xbox or ps3 or buy a WD media player (you just connect your usb or portable HD to watch high resolution vids up to 1080)
or use a dvd player with upscale capabilities (usually the ones with HDMI) may mura na sony at devant.

hindi pwede, fixed talaga yan kung dvd video format.

kaya mas maganda pa rin talaga kung pc (or yung mga binigay sa taas^) hooked up to an hdtv gamit mo for playing hd video formats.

Kung sa sdtv mo papanoorin yung hd video, may point na di mo na makikita difference with an sd video

even if you convert it to higher resolution, if you have a pre-converted resolution, that will NOT make the video more clearer because it is already ripped off from the original video. Unless you convert the original video source yourself (i.e. bluray/dvd) , you won't get any clearer than that. it's like zooming the picture from the video itself and will not make it clearer. That's what I understand. It's like converting a 2megapixel picture to a 3megapixel photo (just like what other china cellphones do, tagging their brands as 5 megapixelx when in fact they only have VGA lenses etc., I forgot the term for that but they do just 'zoom' the contents of it.) IMHO ;-)

ganito gawin mo take a 320x240 pic sa PC mo then edit mo sa paint and trun it to 1920x1080, yan ang magiging quality ng video mo

ah yes. so ikaw pala ang magcoconvert out from the original dvd/bluray disc (namisinterpret ko siguro yung post mo). yes, i  think you can do that. depende nga sa program.

sabagay nasagot na sa taas na hanggang 720x480 lang ang DVD.

pero rephrase natin yung tanong: 

yung mga na-download ko na HD format na movie and TV series. may way ba or program para ma-retain yung quality na 1280 or 1080 pag-icoconvert ko into DVD na playable sa mga DVD players.

resolution nang dvd format is set na. unless it is anybody knows how to burn HD DVD. Ito yung ka competition nang blueray format.

aaaahh gets ko na rin hes asking how to burn A HIGHER resolution not to a higher resolution from a lower resolution hehe, hes asking how to burn, for example he wants to burn the 720p mp4 version of TF2:RotF na 2.5gb and not the 700mb version to an HD format
